Girlyyy you have literally cheered me up so much...I was scolded by my teachers for being a failure and not attempting my tests and assignments on time...I felt like such a failure...my problem is that I want to do everything perfectly but then I gets overwhelming and I start procrastinating.... But today I decided to pray some nafal instead of procrastinating and cried to Allah and I will be honest, I did get some stuff done😅

Asalamu alaykum Imani, JazakAllah kheir for such an honest and raw vlog. Especially surrounding work, I can imagine how rewarding working with all the lil babies are but how exhausting it can be. I've recently started working full time in a high school and trying to find balance between my dunya and akhirah and learning to strengthen my iman and remember Allah throughout the day, and especially trying to learn how to find peace within myself because sometimes I do feel like a bit of an outsider as my co-workers aren't Muslim. So big big jazakAllah kheir for sharing, if you have any advice on how to find balance especially at work, I'm all ears! You're doing amazing habibti, may Allah grant you sabr and elevate your status amongst the righteous 💕💕💕

The kids definitely take a toll on you, assistant teachers make things easier. For me the bond i have with each kid makes me love my job- i feel like if i quit im quitting them. Because they always get so shocked to see a new face/ teacher. The most draining part of my job are coworkers and work politics. It’s definitely what makes me need to step into my car and breathe.
Balance has been VERY hard for me. I want to do so much but feel like I have no time.
Priorities should be number one. And on Sundays i go to an Islamic class at a masjid. That helps so much. It could be any Islamic class or meeting really. The class i go to is for revert sisters and even if i know the bare minimum it’s always so refreshing and exciting being around excited new Muslim sisters with the cutest questions! I also learn something new every class since Islam is such a heavy religion ❤ I leave every Sunday refreshed and happy again to start my week alhamdulilah.
So being involved in something Islamic helps make the balance a bit easier.
