    Great madam. This was very much helpful. Trying to understand basics as I am not from a finance background. I mean graduation. But I am working in a bank, but just by reading through the books doesn't give me a clear picture of the concept. Lectures like these are very much helpful.

    Devika ma'am, the answer to the second part of the problem is 22,500 and not 2,25,00. You by mistake took the B.E.P (in units) value as 45,000 instead of 4,500.

    Mama if I take fixed cost divided by PV ratio then the ans is not 22500 but u told it should be same if we take fixed cost by s-v multiplied by s.

    mam there is wrong in sale calculation if we devide 9000 by 2 how it can be 45000?

    7:23 isn't that 4,500 but instead you've got wrong with 45,000.. and 7:36 the answer changes also. the correct one is 22,500

    mam i have one doubt, In question, suppose the price reduces to Rs. 2 ,,,, That means actual selling price per unit is 5 is mentioned in question,, we can take only the diff mam.. 5-2= 3/- ..is it right mam ??

    If you can explain more examples to get a good grip of the concept, it wouldn't be really love.
    suppose you are given only the fixed cost and break even point in sales.
    what other information can you get from them?
