I installed a pegboard above the kids workbench and I noticed afterwards that I have lost a lot of holes on the pegboard because of the piece supporting the pegboard...if I would have to redo the project I would've installed spacers. Love the mini shelve idea!

Shopnotes magazine had those with the issue that had the hanging tool cabinet. Still love that cabinet!
In my experience, the finger-jointed strips work a lot better than the continuous strips. Far less likely to become pretzels, and overall stronger.
