Thank you for the review of a professional who knows what he is talking about, unlike most people who run such channels and have never had an instrument in their hands in their lives. Reviews by educated musicians on YT are really scarce, and the rest of the amateurs don't interest me because they simply don't know what they are talking about. This song is Marcin's composition, which is some time old, but in this clip Marcin arranged it specifically for Tim, and probably Tim also influenced the final shape of this arrangement, and I can't imagine it would be different. Especially since they are colleagues, and fans of both musicians have waited a very long time for this collaboration and finally got it. For me personally, this piece is so good because both musicians are guitar virtuosos and both have a thorough musical education. I remind you that Tim started with the violin before he took up guitar and progressive rock. As of today, these are the hottest guitars in the world and it's top of the top and we won't see anything better for a long time. These are young guitarists who are pushing this instrument forward. This is a fresh new sound and unbelievable virtuosity of this instrument. As for the video itself, it's all right there, the music, the atmosphere and the imagery. For me personally, in this clip there is even an incredible symbiosis of electric and acoustic guitar. They both play their solos and Tim's nylon doesn't interfere with Marcin's metal and vice versa, and in the sequence where they play together they are even one and we get a completely new sound that blends into one, but to do this you need outstanding talent and incredible technical skills. At the end, Martin's guitar complains that Tim's guitar, which can be heard in the background, is leaving and this also shows the intention of this composition. I heard this composition at Marcin's concert and probably fans will kill me here, but this composition is only possible as a solo by Marcin, which is also already on YT, or only with Tim. That's why I'm waiting when both musicians will perform it live together. Maybe one day it will happen. Greetings from Poland.
MARCIN incorporated Tim's nylon guitar on the solo part of Carmen Habanera and sounds amazing. I think Marcin is a heavier handed player. Love the reactions! Subsribed! ...finally
Dude!!! I'm so glad you you did this reaction. The joy on your face is so catching. It brings me joy to see you excited and happy. I was smiling the whole time. I really enjoy your reactions. Thank you! This song is epic!!! So beautiful to see and hear. Marcin and Tim do an amazing job. Marcin just kills it! Can't say enough about how good it is. I enjoyed the sounds from the 2 different strings and guitars. They complimented each other well. Thanks again!! You are awesome Brian!!! Hope you are doing well. Sending you love from Texas!!❤❤
Thank You for Your great reaction. I would love to see on Your chanell - How Marcin breaks the internet (and his nails) with his guitar. Greetings from Poland.
The Tim guitar is called acoustic - electric if you go to guitar shop and play on it without cable to amp - sound like junk. Some people maybe like it , that's it. Acoustic is acoustic and with nylon sound great.
Nice reaction and analysis, thank you. Have you seen Marcin collab with Ichika Nato? I will check out your past reactions for Marcin and Polyphia as well. Subscribed.
The ONLY reason Tim is using nylon strigs is to pull all those riffs, imo he sacrificed sound of steel strings so he can pull all those super quick arpegio kinda things. It is possible to be done on steel but way harder - correct me if I am wrong. By the way great reaction and honestly It is impossible to point who was better Marcin or Tim , they are complementing each other and in music the only winner is the audience .
They really do complement each other really well, before watching I really never thought which player is better. They are both incredible. I love the sound of nylon string guitar, whether its Julian Bream, Pat Metheny, Ralph Towner, Paco De Lucia, the Assad Brothers .....etc. I just have never like the sound of any thin bodied nylon electric/acoustic guitars. just my personal preference. Thank you for watching and commenting.
