The Can Ams are wicked machines! Had a 750 King Quad and updated to and 850 Outlander - can’t believe the difference- and the KQ is a great machine! Great video!!
Gotta love that can-am renegade I love my Can-Am Renegade with cvtech clutch n that's good u got it up n running for him he's probably going to be happy 💯
@@rockspowersportsglad I found your page. You are extremely knowledgeable and I love the breakdowns of your videos. Please keep them coming! I have subscribed also. I own 2 Renegade 1000 XXCs. Great machines. I race GNCCs. Although my race quads are super expensive I am looking for something 4x4 and preferably automatic as a workhorse around our property. Reliability is the key and on the cheap end, any recommendations? We had a Sportsman 850 awhile back, it was a great quad but too nice for what I was doing with it (making trails/race track in woods and work). May I also ask where you are located? It looks beautiful!!
If I know one thing from owning canam products , first batteries need to stay on a tender , once they are a tad low it won’t run right or at all check all connections one loose connection and bike will do this , Second ignition’s mainly g1 models always have issues with the chips keys giggling in ignition itself and killing bike , third radiators even when it looks clean it’s probably not clean enough, specially stay with XPS fluids don’t change because the price is a bit high you pay for what you get. Can’t beat a rotax . I’ve never been stranded just have to know your bike , if you don’t a manual and some forums can point you in the right direction ❤ sweet video man
Hello , I have a 2014 can-am renegade 500. I am having idling issues and was wondering if you know what's going on. When I start it idles perfect. When I give it gas to rev it up the idle will stay high at 3200 rpm and stay there. If i shut it off and restart it does the same thing.
@@rockspowersports come to trailfest in Gilbert wv. I got a bunch of friends from different states that come every year and we ride the trails and have a great time.
I got a 2015 Can-Am 500 renegade and the maintenance required I can't get it to go off how do you get it off without a computer I've held the button down on the dash and flip the headlights three times
Hey man I really have a question about a 2013 can am1000 I’m working on, it barley goes over 25-30mph , so far I put fresh gas in it , checked fuel pressure which was 50psi , and blew out the clear vent tubes and it’s still low on power. It starts and idles fine just low power please let me know what you think the problem could be , I’m think it’s the injectors but not 100% sure.
Possibly an unpopular opinion, but I've never been a fan of snorkels on quad's. Could be because I deep down know that's gonna hurt when I go ever the bars. 😂
Nice Same here, I’d rather trade than buy or sell. And that’s funny, unless you said that before someone has definitely commented about me looking like home before.
@@rockspowersports Four city-dwelling friends (Jon Voight, Burt Reynolds, Ned Beatty, Ronny Cox) decide to get away from their jobs, wives and kids for a week of canoeing in rural Georgia. When the men arrive, they are not welcomed by the backwoods locals, who stalk the vacationers and savagely attack them in the woods. Reeling from the ambush, the friends attempt to return home but are surrounded by dangerous rapids and pursued by a madman. Soon, their canoe trip turns into a fight for survival.
Codes cleared and modules paired with the vin. Someone had changed the speedo at one point and probably didn’t pair it. The can am’s are pretty sensitive to electronic changes.
@@rockspowersports good video. Good to know. Awesome machines but not a fan of all this new technology. Seems like its on everything now. The new bikes are loaded with all the junk and its been like that for years. Ktm always has issues. Which is pier mobility and they own 2 other bike companies plus husky and gas gas.
@rockspowersports I bought each my daughter's a new Argo Xr500 se for their birthdays 2 months ago. Great machine. 443cc 32hp engine same machine as a Arctic 450 and Kymco 500, front locking differential and 3500lb winch. My youngest stopped riding it after only 10 hours on the machine. My oldest loves to ride. If I sell this, I will buy the Arctic Cat 1000.
you take us there virtually!!! Loved this!
I have 2023 Renegade XXC 1000. Monster of a beast!
Gotta love when a customer tells you to make sure you rip it haha, cool video man , been trying to get into doing quad repairs myself

The kingquads are nice machines but the power difference from the 750 KQ to the can am 850 is insane.
@@rockspowersportsyep I went from a pioneer 500 to a xmr850 now I’m doing wheelies across mud holes all day long 🎉😅

Wish I lived closer have a grizzly 700 that needs worked on😂😂😂
I’m from West Virginia. I probably seen this machine. I love 4 miles from Hatfield McCoy trails.
Awesome! I personally haven’t been down there yet but I’d like to. We might end up taking a trip next year and doing some wheeling on the H/M trails.

Sometimes the only to reproduce faults is to ride the same way the customer does.
Absolutely!
Did you get the BUDS from BRP Diagnostic?
Do you have the polaris Diagnose program? Or a link by chance. Or if there is one available

Never buy a used Atv with a snorkel, it’s probably been submerged a few times
