It beats doing multiple raffles, and depending on SNKRS, waiting for shipping, and it saves me money because I'm guaranteed to get retail. visiting NYC today so I was camping out at broadway foot locker without a reserved pair. The SNKRS app didn’t hit while I was in line to get in, so O get inside and get upstairs and they only have 8 and 8.5. So I ran all the way down to the 5th Ave NIKE NYC HQ store and got in line there and was FINALLY able to cop at retail

Honestly the comfort is the reason I’m keeping them and did a double up. They aren’t usually my style cuz it’s just a lot of black. I’d still prefer having more SB4s but they really are shockingly comfy

I went to jd sports at 10am when they opened. Like 15 to 20 people in line.and there was a dude at the front who was new. I asked him if they still had 10.5s and he hit the walkie talkie and asked and they had them waitin at the register when it was my turn. No one in front of me did that and so a couple people who wanted 10.5 didn't get em. I kinda feel bad 😂😂😂😂

This shoe was overly hyped but in my case as in all of their cases of copping kicks, it was easy for me. I NEVER do raffles. I went to my local DSG and waited an hour till 12 noon. Copped and left. Just like that.

What people expect. The last pair released are 400+ and regardless of bots backdooring and shady managers. This was a double up triple up one to rock one stock and one for the flipple up shoe. Plus afterpay klarna and tax season. And every one surprised... everything else a pass since the Gratitude 11s those where 255 and mid. And real talk... lost and founds can stay lost. These shoes here tho... what shady say... crazy work.. you better stop playing and cop me I'm goin all the way

Doubled up - shock drop and then champs in store pick up today. The leather upper is so clean and the overall fit on this 4 is wayyyyy better than all the other 4s (before the Nike SB Pine Greens).
ONE THING: I did spray the CREP sneaker protector on it and it left a BUNCH of light grey botches allll over the shoe. I took a Lysol wipe and carefully wiped the blotches off, and they’re not there anymore today. But it was a bit scary to see that. I thought I had ruined the entire shoe.
I might get a third pair to absolutely BEAT them up because even resale right now isn’t too bad. All around, these are an awesome drop and best of 2024 so far for sure. Eggplant foams and Olympic 6s are next! That’s alllll I want!

DTLR cut off is 3 pm for all their stores. It’s crazy because the pickup email they send you, says come after 3 but if you do, they will sell your pair. It’s crazy!

@@vafinestballer they be on some shady stuff. When the red cement 4s came out, the app said they had a 10 in store. I went up there and the guy was trying to act like they sold out. I had to keep telling him, I know it’s here. He finally went to the back & grabbed them.
Resellers and hypebeast ate these up in multiples😂. They deserved it. Everyone that didn’t hit, stay patient, I smell a restock on these down the line. I got my pair, I’m good.

I don’t get ppl saying go up half size. I wouldn’t recommend that at all. They fit big and they’re very roomy im normally 12.5 in 4s but 12s in there and they fit big
I only wanted 1 but got 2 pairs by accident. After getting charged by Champs the night before, I froze my credit card but it still went through on a raffle. A little pissed but hopefully I can return them. If not, they’ll be on eBay.

Despite all those pairs, couldnt get a single SZ 13 online lmfao. Tried hitting like 4 sites. Only lucked out in store last minute cause one shop didnt get that many reservations ahead of time for my size.
I am so glad this drop is finally over. I am tired of watching all these YTers talk about quality, quantity, style, fit and then complain about Shock Drops, EAs, Snkrs Pass, etc. 500k pairs was enough worldwide.

Glad I got my double up it seemed like the hype wasn’t too bad until they sold out that’s when everyone hit the malls I got so many offers for my pairs but I know I would regret selling just like I regret selling my 2019 pair but the materials on those felt so cheap now with this leather pair I feel like they won’t crease up as bad as nubuk and you can wear the leather pair in any weather so it’s definitely more versatile. The OG will always be better but these are a great alternative in hand they look way better
