Must have been cutting some onions editing this one. He's so back.
🥲🥲🥲
Don't the onions come pre-chopped with Hello Fresh?
From a complete stranger, I’m fucking proud of you Callum. Warrior spirit.
@@ThatRunnerAaron haha thanks mate! Appreciate that 🙏🏼
I ran at the DII level in grad school when Callum was in the US. I’ve been around since the beginning. It’s been so much fun to say I ran against him in college
Good times! Thanks for following on 👊🏻
currently returning to running after an injury as well, and seeing your perspective on the mental side of dealing with not being able to run was really helpful for me to see. Injury is tough and truly is a roller coaster of good days and bad days. can’t wait to keep following along. keep up the great work, callum!
Thank you! Best of luck with your recovery… remember it’s not a linear journey 👊🏻
So happy that you're back :) Take care and thank you for the videos.
Thank you! You too!
So happy for you, Callum! Looking forward to watching your recovery and running journey post injury!
Much appreciated 🙌🏻
The long awaited come back video. Let’s go Callum time to grind 🔥❤️
You already know!
Thanks for showing all parts of your amazing story; gives us a real insight into being injured as a pro. Amazingly well filmed and edited, as always. Can’t wait for more Callum content!

Lovely video, putting a big smile on my face to start the day. Looking forward to the continued journey to greatness
Appreciate the support & glad you enjoyed the video!
This must have been the fastest recovery from such an injury I have ever seen.
It’s very slightly ahead of the general timeline 👍🏼
Let's go Cal!!!!
🙏🏼
Well done Callum! I admire your perseverance and you've got this!
Appreciate the support! 👊🏻
I am so glad you are back running, kudos for keeping positive and motivated throughout the recovery time. Inspirational.
@@fabiofavot2240 thank you! Appreciate the support! Hopefully we progress from here 👊🏻👊🏻
I admire your positivity through this period. It's really tough to keep a positive attitude and smile. If it happened to me, I would have been so depressed and negative. All the best for your future runs!
You never know how you will react until it happens to you! For me, positivity is the only way, or I would really struggle. I remind myself that people recover from far worse in life & I can cope with this 🙏🏼
You truly inspire me to keep running every week and not stop, your recovery will encourage me to continue with a high head during potential injuries!
That’s awesome to hear! Appreciate it 👊🏻
Wish You a lot of health . Get back stronger !😊
🙏🏼
Huge respect for staying so positive throughout (at least in the videos) and looking forward to seeing you back racing
Thank you!
Thank you for the continued inspiration. Well done on staying with your program even though it has been difficult.

Amazing Callum 😭
Thank you!
Can’t wait to see you back in the international comps mate. Here for the ride
Thanks mate! Long way to go but that’s the plan 👊🏻
Love this journey man🎉 So happy for you to be back running again! Been out for almost an identical period of time to you (December to July) with an illness that I’m only in the last couple weeks able to run properly again this one hits close to home. Freak accidents can happen to anyone, they’re not your fault and that’s often the hardest thing to take.
All the best with your recovery mate! 📈
The return of the king!
@@Mob_0014 trying to get back there! 🤣👑
Well done for not giving up 💪. Best of luck with the comeback
Thank you 👊🏻
Glad you are back to running🙏 I also fell while running in april, had a knee injured (couldnt bend my leg and was in crutches)
Your content came just at the right time :)
Unfortunally my injured is flaring up again at the moment😢
🤞🏼🤞🏼 for a smooth recovery this time!
Top job on the rehab 💪🏻 I know you've still got a way to go, but it must feel brilliant to be back running!
It feels great! Thanks mate
Onwards and upwards ✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼

Great to see you out running again...Thank you for the honesty. Hopefully the tough times will make the future PRs even sweeter.
@@sahu appreciate the support! Hopefully race videos to come soon 👊🏻
Hey man, extremely proud of you. It's extremely tough to work through stuff like this. I'm super excited to see you get back out there and tear up the oval!
Also, the thought of someone's spikes slicing your achilles is terrifying. That sounds awful bro
I appreciate it!
Hey mate, met you briefly at Manchester UK Athletics last month, really great to see you running again - made up for you
Appreciate that!! Thank you
beautiful story ⛅

So good to see this mate. We r all with you 💪🏽
Thanks mate!
Great to see you back running!
Cheers!
Enjoyed video - hope the recovery continues to go well.
Thanks for watching!
Great watch keep up the good work and good luck
Thanks, will do!
Great news, and very relatable after getting a stress fracture in my foot in May - finally back to continuous running now 🙌🏼
Thanks for sharing your journey and keeping it real. Onwards!
Best of luck with your recovery 👊🏻
@@the.distanceproject Cheers, and you!
I really admire how you've staid so positive, I feel negative sometimes from missing a single day of practice 😂
It happens!
Ready for the comeback bud, great vid👏🏻
Appreciate it!
Great to hear you are back running! Not at your level be a competitive age grouper. I broke my leg 7 years ago, had to have two surgeries and was in a cast/boot for 5 months. Did the run walk build back. A few years from now you will be at a place where you don’t think about the achillies but between now and then dont get to high on the highs or low on lows. Focus on the process and be diligent with all the PT and strength work. At my late 30s and into 40s I was able to get better than I was pre injury so no doubt you’ll be hitting PBs in the not too distance future!
@@SkiSurfHikeIt glad you made a full recovery! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
Time flies by so quickly. We're excited to see how rapidly you'll regain the level of fitness you once had. It would be great if you could document your progress. Good luck to you! The tiger is back in action!
We won’t be documenting it all here, but you can follow on Instagram for more :) thank you!

Great to see you back running, Callum. I have been through the process of recovering from Achilles surgery (nothing as severe as you underwent) and the first time back running (from memeory it was a 2 minute effort in my case) is very traumatic. Will the leg hold up? Can I remember how to run? From what you said in the video you are aware of all the possible pitfalls ahead and have obviously been very well advised throughout the rehab process so I reckon that you can look forward with confidence. Expect to see you tear up the track in summer 2025!

This is a brilliant watch. Here's to a continued come back through the rest of the year. I'm sure there's much more to come. Nice one Callum and Charlie.

I've been out with achillies tendonitis for 2 months now, nowhere near as bad as you, but I can empathise with all the mental strain injury inflicts on you. Any tips for returning to running would be hugely welcomed! Just did my first easy 5k yesterday - Elliott
Build up slowly mate! I’d recommend starting with run/walk and progressing to continuous 👊🏻 good luck!
Well done on getting through it. Exited for the year to come 👊👊
