This video shows a demo of Toppan depth CMOS-ToF image sensor in an outdoor situation.
As you see, background random depth noise exists at far distance area in "raw" depth image. It results from depth calculation with a small amount of IR ToF signal.
Generally, in the ToF sensing system, the user should take processing to avoid depth calculation of this area by monitoring an IR amplitude of this part is exceeded the threshold level or not.
The number of integration count is around 5k counts (1/10 of maximum integration count @ 30fps, BEC80T[940nm])
This value is equivalent to laser emission counts and accumulation counts per frame.
