For your offset smoker, any charcoal will do, you’re really just setting a coal base for your wood splits, but if your grilling, Jealous Devil Lump is the way to go.
I buy kingsford on sale at Costco, sam’s, or home depot/ lowes. Use 1/2 chimney, no charcoal grate in firebox but put it in main chamber. Acts like a heatsink so temps don’t fluctuate near as much. Also added a stack extension which helps with draw. Use little more wood but less temp fluctuations and much easier fire management
Looks like my Wrangler ya got there 😁👍👍
Enjoyed It!!! Thanks for sharing. New Sub
Burgers look Amazing!!!
Nice grilling dude looks awesome!
Thanks! Just working on it trying to get it right!

Save your money, 2-3 cap full of vegetable oil, light it, clean burn starts charcoal , also use to keep oiled
Let me know
Happy grilling
Meant wet paper towels with the oil
I’m going to try that. I usually use parts of my charcoal bag to start fire
Thinking that’s a pecos not Wrangler
