    I actually found one that someone throw out. That was my first one. They are addictive. I mainly collect 26th Yankee Division stuff.

    Nice group of Doughboy helmets. Back in the early 1980s, $25.00 was a lot of money. Keep the video's coming. 👍🏻

    This is really cool, it's interesting seeing how varied some of the dimensions of them are, like they had some trouble standardizing.
    Manufacturing for these really came a long way so quickly that it's something I didn't consider

    Some collectors say that the felt looking lining inside the helmet contains asbestos.

      That's very possible.

      @@kennethreese4659 the asbestos is underneath the pad where the liner fits into the shell. Nice collection.
