Nice!. I repurposed one that had the removable handle and caster wheels. All wheels shot. And everything for quality upgrade laying around. Ran into same problem. I don't have a welder. But I did have stock to simply sister existing axle and clamp them solid. Good enough for what's needed. And isn't coming seperated. There's the right way to do something and there's a right way to do something.
Exactly what I was wanting to do. I want to exchange for taller tires to make it easier to carry big cases of water into the house because im getting too old to carry them by hand. By adding taller tires the dolly should be easier to pull up the steps .😊
I want to know how to put a caster wheel (s) on the front of a hand truck or dolly and a simple way to do it.But I perfer not to have the front wheel(s) to swivel. If it's only 1 wheel in the front I don't want it to swivel ? And I want the big castor wheel in the front.Big like the ones in the back because it can handle bumps better ?
Aren’t there tire and wheel combos with shorter widths that would fit without the need for a mod?
Surprisingly hard to find and those 13 inch tires from HF make this project totally worth it if you are willing to mod and weld.
I want to know how to put a big caster wheel(s) on a dolly and a simple way.I perfer to have the wheels not to swivel ?
Great job and video
That adapter piece you made to tack the piece in is the coolest thing ever!
Isn't that "cotter pin" actually a _split pin_ ?
Those small wheels suck.
Good job and video
