Owen Last This is late answer but you can. I started playing Fire Emblem with Awakening when it cames out I think I was... 13 ? But I was desirous to discover more games of this serie. I started with Blazing sword, acquired the original game in a small old game store. I still remember the salesmen judging me ahah. He thought I wouldn't be able to beat Hector's mode (I was already a DS and TH player sooo...). This was really a great experience and I then wanted to play as much game as possible. I acquired SS and SD through internet sales and both were still fantastic. Then Fates came out... I tried Binding Blade and PoR on romstation. Haven't played Por much and was at ch.15 of BB, I admit I found this one a bit boring... And then... uhuh a few months ago I got my hand over Genealogy and god is this game good. I finished none of Fates or Echoes or Genealogy because studies but out of the 3, the one I truly wish I could have time to play is Genealogy. This game transcended me. Oh and with Awakening... there was this dlc, I think the english name was smt like Rebellion and Redemption 2? (The reward was Celica) One of the song that was playing during This dlc was Lion King Eldigan. I actually loved This song. I had the game opened but wasnt playing, just listening to this beautiful music... And during 5 years I found this music nowhere until that day I reached ch.3 in Gen... This was a beautiful moment. I saw myself during this 5 years very important in the construction of the suite grown up adult I am now... All those years with FE by my side, all of this because one day I saw an Awakening release add and thought "Hey, this game looks cool! Might definitely give it a try !"
Draelyn LOL am I the only one with no problem with the paladins dying, Just rush all your horses to them, and take out Elliot, have ethlyn heal eve/yves
Those paladins are so stupid. I managed to save their lives and heal them up to full at their castle, and the moment I rescued the princess they all go charging to Heirhein way ahead of my army and suicide against Bordeaux and his knights. I guess the lesson is always move your army near the next town before capturing the previous one.
Boy do I love saving all the green units, placing Lachesis near the middle castles in anticipation for a siege before Sigurd claims, then watching them get ambush spawned by ballistas and sleep magic with no way to warp or direct them out. Fucking hell I didn't want that Knight Ring anyway.
One thing I like about this game is that there are multiple units that look exactly the same. The Paladins in this chapter and Pamela and the other one are prime examples.
"For stronger enemies, what could be more fitting than a stronger weapon? Let's see how you fare with this." And then Finn solos the rest of that chapter
Probably the worst chapter in the game but I dunno I don't exactly hate it I just kind of find it a bit empty Although my favourite scene in the game happens here
