when I was a bartender/waitress in 2019-2020 pink sugar got me SO many compliments from everyone! Men, women, teens, older folk etc. all loved it on me :) I found that the "burnt sugar" note in is sorta dissapates away with time as it macerates - I have a bottle that's a couple years old & to me nowadays it just smells like pure fluffy whipped vanilla goodness with a slight touch of candied berries :)

Girl wait til you get your nose on Kayali's Vanilla rock candy! It's heavenly and will be out in the US in a few weeks, already in Europe and imo it's the best Kayali has ever done especially for the Ethyl malitol/cotton candy sweet girlies! It's that good
I’ve been intrigued by Boardwalk Delight, but I’ve been afraid to try it because coconut goes either way for me. If it’s the bad sharp & screechy coconut it ruins the whole fragrance, but I like the creamy soft sweet coconut notes. I keep thinking that it will smell like Pastel Skies, and the coconut musk in that one smells a little musty.
I have pink sugar & the flankers, which I really like, but when I think of pure cotton candy scents I think of Outremer Vanille. 😊

Two suggestions for you to try if you do not already know about. I love Pistachio Yum by Kayali but recently ordered “Affection “ by Lotaffa . Omg it’s almost identical but has more vanilla creaminess, better price point and the bottle is so pretty! Also Dua makes an original Cotton Candy fragrance “ Cotton Candy De Dua”. Mine has macerated and is so rich now. Great alone or for layering. I think you have me convinced to try the Skylar one ( like I don’t have enough fragrances 😅)
Angel is the OG cotton candy scent. I recommend the edt if you don’t like the patchouli. 💕
I have Pink sugar and love it. And don't get me going on Boardwalk Taffy. It's better than it's sister Cotton Candy Clouds. There's a slight difference if you really compare them.

I'm really surprised that you didn't include - Delicious Cotton Candy by Gale Hayman.
To me, that's the most straight up, cotton candy perfume EVER. It's just pure, sweet, unaltered, cotton candy.
It's pink sugar without the licorice in my opinion

guys mugler angel is horrendous i bought a full bottle. and i still to this day can’t wear it it smells like if u burnt every note and then threw some patchouli on top. so pls if ur a sweet girl u like pink sugar, viva la juicy, poison girl, flower bomb pls DO NOT BUY!!

You lost me when you said coconut for the Skylar fragrance. 🤢Usually, when coconut is involved it is all you smell. It becomes the prominent scent. Even in food, it's dominant. I'll have to get a sample to see if that's not true for this scent.

@@dominiccofresiventura3300 From my experience, the scent of the fragrance doesn't last very long on me, but I don't spray a lot on either. The bottle can last a while because it's a decent size. They are affordable too, especially if you find them on sale at a drugstore!
I always keep a bottle of this around. It’s so good, although I think it starts out smelling more like grape soda. Not that I mind, because I love grape soda!!

The cotton candy aesthetic itself is also appealing! I love the colors, the images, when the skies and clouds LOOK like cotton candy, the smell, and of course when I get to EAT cotton candy!

A cheapie that’s really good is Calgon Body mist in Cotton Candy. I love using it to layer with. It’s great with Mont Blanc Signature as well as Yara.

I love COTTON CANDY note in fragrances!!! I like the powdery form of it... Pink Sugars' "Berry Mist" hair mist is my favorite ~ it has that powdery cotton candy smell and lasts many many hours in the hair. :)

Ksenja, my favorite scent is Pink Sugar perfume.
I have Gale Hayman’s Delicious Cotton Candy and it’s really nice and lasts all day. I prefer this over aquolina’s. No licorice note or burnt sugar smell.
The only thing with Delicious cotton candy is make sure you remove the jaguar cap (it’s Gale’s signature mark but the hard plastic has a strong stench So just remove it and the juice in the bottle is fine). Enjoy! ☺️

@@kokoro9301 omg! 😆 I feel like that may of made it worse I cannot imagine the pungent plastic/weed smell from the cap mixing with vinegar. I just removed the cap and let it sit and it’s aired out for me and it’s very faint now but I don’t dare put it back on the perfume bottle. Lol

If you hate licorice, don't get the original Pink Sugar but the Berry blast!
From my bottle of Pink Sugar (10 years old) I get the cotton candy and the licorice. When I first got it it will give me headaches. Not anymore. I am able to wear it now, and love to use it to sweeten other fragrances

Oh my goodness, I had their moisterizer a few years ago! I mostly used it as a hand cream because it was not greasy at all, absorbed fast, and left my hands ao soft and smooth... and it smelled delightful!

@@ksenja6023 of course there’s not actual cotton candy in it. But what does cotton candy smell like? Vanilla powdery, sticky nuances👍 and Ari has vanilla marshmallow fruity powdery goodness. Mmm. But yeah you’re correct. It’s more of a vanilla fruity Fragrance kind of like K Perry meow.

I sold my first bottle of yum pistachio because I found it not long lasting but I recently got to smell it again and I was hooked and I now own a partial 50ml and a backup 100ml I overspray now and it lasts and projects amazingly, I’m so addicted! It’s incredible!
Mine is about 3 months old… and it doesn’t last either even when over sprayed and layered. Also smells too green for me…maybe just my body chemistry 🤷♀️

I bought Delicious Cotton Candy Gayle Hayman-disgusting! It smells like skunk/pot mixed with Charmin tp and baby powder. I like the burnt sugar scent of BR540 Extrait. Wish I could find burnt sugar smell in candles but have never found it
to me it smells like straight of laundry detergent. I could definitely get the airiness from it, but it wasn’t a gourmand or cotton candy to me.😢
Ironically pink sugar smells burnt to me. It smells more like "brown" sugar than pink sugar to me.

My all time favorite which I highly recommend get your nose on is Floral Street Wonderland Peony. It’s a sweet fruity floral but florals blended so nicely into the sweets. Cotton Candy is at the base, it’s very unique! I’ve seen it compared to Mac Candy yum yum but I don’t really see it
