She is absolutely correct. the gel acts as a moisturizer as well as lay the edges down and the Gorilla Glue keeps the edges firmly down. also ur edges dont feel hard as hell. I used to do the same thing with other products as well.

oh god i used to do the spray pain method myself back in the day which was a huge mistake one hot summer...a better alternative is to just use a really good eye liner or eyebrow liner, (pencil or liquid) smudge it on your finger as well and lightly blend it in to your edges...and its alot trustworthy if you get the waterproof kind...

I will definitely try this method. I got several edge control gels stored in my cabinet. I just couldn't find anything that would work on my edges because they are so hard to tame. But I did find my Gorilla Snot at Kroger's for about $2.99 here in Michigan. I bought the one in the bottle and I've only used it once. I was about to give it to this guy at my job but not without trying this technique first. You are right honey, you really have to be careful when using this stuff, but a little bit goes a long way. I will experiment with the gels that I do have to see what works best for me. Thank you and the info was very helpful and your eyebrows are gorgeous!

I'm natural so all I do is put on the olive oil edge control and wet my medium soft bristle brush with water. I brush down hair with the wet brush and I'm good to go. It looks like I got a relaxer!

Picked up the gorilla snot today....I have a Keratin Smoothing in my hair and since it's not a permanent straightener my edges are unruly...I use Chi Silk and Pearl Smoothing Serum underneath because the GS has water and alcohol...wasnt sure how it was going react to the Keratin......my edges are so smooth and set in place....tomorrow I will test it during my workout...I always put my hair in large rollers to keep the sweat out of my hair but edges are wack....I got a good feeling about this combination...thank YOU!

The edge control makes the edges thinner, sculpting your edges frequently will cause the hair to slide out
