Gimkit Don't Look Down TAS

I give a massive thank you to The Lazy Squid for making the TAS tools so that all of these TAS's until this very day were possible and for copying the physics code into a plugin so that after josh removed speed-boosts we were still able to continue with TAS's. Thank you so much to Nd3m/Niko for helping me with almost every TAS that i've ever made and in doing so has discovered a lot of strats that the TAS uses. Thank you to immortal for editing music, recording all of these TAS's, and even finding a faster barn-skip route idea in summit 4. And finally, Thank you to every gimkit speedrunner for giving me the inspiration to make the very first TAS and causing me to go all the way past sub 4 and through 3:30.

Horse (Me!): Hey guys, horse here, When I first started making DLD TAS's I thought sub 5 wasent possible, then sub 5 was the limit, then maybe sub 4:40, and then 4:30, and then sub 4:15, and then 10, and then finally sub 4. After that I thought, "there is physically no way to improve this..." 17 Days later. I decided to make a new TAS of my own from scratch, just for fun. That TAS however, wasn't this one. I decided to scrap that one and see how high of a x velocity start I could have. And after a while, I got the 141 x vel that you saw. But even then the journey was rough. The TAS's predicted time wasn't even sub 3:40 yet. We eventually got the perfect summit 1, in summit 2 the TAS drops 3 frames to save over 10 later. And then, I lost the save file, having to redo my crazy summit 3, which took an entire month and 16 days. But we even improved it by a whole second so it was worth it. Summit 4 and 5 took little time with the barnskip strat being found out. And all that was left was summit 6. Now, summit 6 is literally perfect... at least for now. Originally I thought that maybe if I saved just 7 more frames I could be able to get something like a 1:11, but no. That isnt happening. I tried for days, weeks even. Summit 5 is tied with the TAS's best summit 5 split I have gotten, summit 4 is the best version, summit 3 is the best version, Summit 2 isnt but We had to slow down to save time in summit 3. And summit 1. In theory I found out that you can save 7 frames. But the coords required are only possible with a very specific line of movement and boosts that ultimately that cant be achieved, and to be honest. Even If I do get it after this, I doubt it would be uploaded, 7 frames faster just isnt any fun to watch. So this is most likely goodbye from me. Oh wow, i'm actually close to running out of characters for this description. Well, I've said all I wanted to.
I shall be working on the no boost TAS now, and also probably spending a little time on boost tas's just to see if there is any possible way to improve.
