Hello, I am visiting Spiti Valley during 3rd week of May 2018 and was wondering if Duster AMT is a safe car to handle the dangerous roads of the Himalayas. I trust the brand but my only worry is whether AMT is safe to drive on Himalayas. I know the manual and 4x4 can handle the pressure but not sure about the AMT. Some of the viewers or Renault India, please advise. (Remember: Life is important, so please do not advise just because its your company's product).

Dear all, I'm confused to go for a XUV 500, Safari Storme, Duster or Creta...I currently own a Bolero..need a change. Budget 12 lacs on the road. please advise..
Bro, as u r using a bolero, it's a vehicle with a very good and usable low end torque, if u need more space for u r money, then either mahindra or Tata will satisfy u, if u need a 5 seater then go for duster 85, which has better low end than 110 bhp , . If there's an Explorer inside u waiting to tour India, stretch u r budget and go for a 4 w d, if u want a comfort without troubling u r left foot, go for an auto transmission which mahindra and Renault are offering, PS at the end of the day self satisfaction matters the most, after taking all the opinions choose Wat u r heart says not Wat u r friend says , I have all the cars which u mentioned above, love the duster though.
