At 22:25 we could see Manoj and the imposter going in the same room and Doctor went to other and supposedly Happy was in there too, so he kidnapped them because he can easily blame the new person for the kidnapping. At 27:35 he immediately blames the new guy for kidnapping. At 31:15 he went opposite direction than the others without any fear and after instructing by Adam to go different side. Also he didn't even call for finding doctor and looks relaxed throughout the whole scene. At 31:20 Adam feels something off vibes coming from him and he is seen acting sus and more engrossed in eating pizza then finding the missing. At 37:00 he is clearly trying to look across the wall without getting suspicious where Happy is tied. At 40:15 he acts to shoot zombies and is aiming like he don't wants to shoot any zombie. At 45:10 he is clearly seen handling Adam alone and dragging him(Doctor and Anthony only holding his hands, giving little support). It is clearly some inhumane strength because Adam as human is very strong and as a half zombie his power increases(we can clearly see him fighting hordes of zombies alone). At 50:20 we can clearly see him least interested in going after Peter. At 51:25 we can see his anger cause he knew Peter can fail his plans. At 52:40 he was interested in the truck but keep on watching others to see how he should react so that people think that he has no idea about the truck. At 54:45 he is repairing the car like he is already done it before( the only repairing scenes we get to watch was Peter fixing his bike because he has fixed it before also). At 56:00 he is seen afraid and suspiciously laughing after seeing everyone else laughing. At 56:30 we can see the imposter expressing little anger while others were celebrating. Also he was seen sus of everyone and tries to eliminate people from the team throughout the whole story, so that he can execute his plan and the last part was proof that he has some involvement with the zombies. According to my observations, he is the person who made out the whole plan of ruling world and executed whole plan on how to make zombies but either something went wrong with the formula or he was betrayed by someone internally (as he knows doctor knows the formula of creating and may think of a formula to convert them back). So either he is using the humans to get his throne back or here to eliminate the three people who can spoil his plan(Adam, Peter and Doctor) as he knows that they can eliminate zombies and convert them back using Peter or Adam's blood.
At 31:20 Adam tries to sniff Doctor's smell and gets a strong sense of smell coming from the imposter but he thought maybe they travel together that's why. Also he tied them to a distance so that Peter and Adam can't smell them. But Adam is recent turned. He is only irresistible to become full time zombie because of Peter's blood and his strong will power so his zombie senses are far more good than Peter's, that's why he can sense humans better than Peter (he found Happy and Doctor easily than Peter). The imposter knew that so he tied doctor in an open field where zombies can easily find him and cover him with some zombie blood(which can be seen on his eyebrow as doctor was not injured in the night) so that Adam couldn't find him, but he underestimated Adam's senses. Also I think Happy knows something about the imposter so he wanted him to be gone. He didn't kidnap Manoj because then it would have made him most suspicious and Manoj was bleeding and Adam could sense his blood smell strongly (also Peter was overlooking on Anthony so he can't kidnap him also). Peter sensed bad guys first because he had smelled them before and he invested a majority of his life finding them. Also in the last scene, Adam had eaten and smelled bad guys, so when he held the imposter's hand he lost control but recovered quickly as he thought that his blood is making him do this, so he quickly recovered and made it seem like he was joking. In the first part in order to eliminate Doctor he joins the team and makes zombies attack on Adam as that time Adam was the only one protecting people (the rest were concerned only for their life). Also he had to kill Shamsher urgently because Shamsher has met him before and knows what he does(Shamsher doesn't remember him though but he doesn't wanna take any chances). We can clearly see him and his waiter friend talking about meeting Shamsher when Manoj had a flashback in the second part. So he made Shamsher attack Adam to kill him.
As s2 got confused if that guy was an SLF agent or not because of the coin falling out. On this time stamp 27:00 the paper reads the "the subject (Peter) is walking along with 5 humans and 1 undercover SLF agent" so most probably that guy is with SLF.
