I used to do deliveries to Wandsworth Prison and my lorry was never searched on the way out of there. NOT ONCE. The way he escaped was the exact way i thought he would have when i heard he did a runner.

some people working in prison don't live in the real world they have no concept of the world outside their job in prison, these people are not the prisoners, but the staff that work there, so its likely the escaped prisoner was able to convince a staff member in the prison to get him work in the prison kitchens.
