DATSUN days.....I had a 1974 260Z and 1 280ZX TURBO 1983 back in the early 90's around 1993......my 280ZX Turbo had T tops, red wine and my DATSUN was awesome........today's NISSAN cars suck and they need to bring back the DATSUN badge and build cars like before, they were long lasting cars .
I love my ZX its got the borg and Warner T-5 but yet its not a turbo. but still I Love it. its fast sleek and futuriffic fun, Even crusing up and down the street it is still Awsome!
Well, the T-5 is a damn sight better than the stock Nissan tranny. The day I swapped mine was one of the happiest days of my life. Also, only the 1983 had the T-5. 81 and 82 were auto.
The 280ZX's turbocharged 2.8-liter straight-six could only produce 180 hp (134 kW). It wasn't until the 1984 300ZX's 3.0-liter V6 turbo crossed that particular threshold.

Straight Six. The V6 was not introduced until the 300ZX, to the best of my knowledge.

from 1970 until 1983 DATSUN Z and ZX were 6 inline...........until 1984 with the new 300ZX DATSUN now had a V6 and a horrible dash,
