Daniel, I just wanna give a feedback. Your videos was able to help me a lot. I was able to put my life into perspective and realize how to improve myself and still continuing to do my best to achieve my goals. I learned from you that whether I achieved my goals or not, it doesn't matter because just having a purpose and a path in life is already enough to make your life meaningful. Now, if you end up achieve your goals that is just a bonus that you have to appreciate... Regarding your channel and the views you get from your videos, I think it is expected that sometimes you will have low views because your previous videos about self-improvement were already able to help us, thus we spend less time in RUclips and instead focus on our work, gym, business and goals. But even though I'm busy, during my lunchbreak I check your videos. So just continue creating videos, whatever format videos you upload, we are here to support you. 😃 And as you mentioned already, it is not about the views you get, it's about how many lives you are able to help in a positive way. Please continue making videos.

Thank you for sharing your insights! I think you are right that people come and go from a channel like mine as they are out in the world living their life and actualizing! Thanks for your support and encouragement! It truly means a lot to me. Hope you can be part of the discord too (if that's something you're interested in). 😊🙏🏻

Hey Daniel, it's certainly tough to have the shiny numbers around but your videos are great! I resonate with that middle phase so much. I'm soon-to-be 28, leaving my first career and still ambling around in the dark in many ways. Your videos assure me that it's okay for life to change several times and there are ways forward! Please keep going 😊

I love that you are so down to earth and that you chose to focus on the substance rather than all the flash...simple, unfiltered motivation

Something you said to me as an answer to a comment about putting your all into a job but not being appreciated in anyway helped me recognise that I was in a “Devil wears Prada” type situation. This is getting on for a decade ago. I’d had an absolute guts full of the situation and there’s no way I would have carried on for much longer whatever happened but your answer certainly helped me clarify the situation I was in so thank you. I’ve said it before, I honestly think that there is a gap in self improvement information market. Most motivational stuff is about getting motivated but as soon as you get motivated you hit a brick wall with regards to problems arising, and more importantly people getting in the way. I know you’ve talked about these topics but I’m sure that people are being manipulated by ruthless people in ways that affable people pleasing types cannot see past. A few years ago I was trying to build a following on RUclips. I’d got to 170 subs in three years, then somebody said instead of showing us what you’ve done why don’t you show us how you’ve done it (car restoration videos). I started doing tutorials and got a few thousand more followers in a couple of months. I decided to make a video giving as much info away as I could but being totally outrageous in the intro… just to see? Why not what did I have to lose? 7000 new subs in a week. I still don’t fully understand or know what exactly happened but I think anything new you try is a step in the right direction, so definitely keep changing it up. Good luck with the future 👍

Hey ya know, can’t blame you for wanting to reach out using different mediums and styles. It has to be hard to adapt when you’re trying to do something out of genuine help. Because genuine help is gritty and candid. I was drawn in by your “what i wish I knew in my 30’s” video because it was relevant. I enjoyed seeing some of the flair but I am spoiled on flashy editing. I agree I am in the middle as well. I appreciate your insights. You’re a public speaker and a damn good one. I can’t wait to see what you do. I think a discord is always fun, its hard to keep running and together and constant but as a direct way to reach out it could be valuable for direct feed back. Thank you for looking to improve others : ) We need it

Thanks for your kind words and encouragement! The more I work on finding my voice, the more I feel like I am making an impact. So glad that my video resonated for you! And I agree that they discord can be a lot of work, but I also think it will be available as a place for all of us ‘in the middle’ to grow and support each other! 😊🙏🏻

Daniel you're a good speaker, your information is communicated clearly, and I find it practical and relatable. You're channel niche is probably in my view people who are mid-twenties/thirties and up who feel "behind" or are feeling like they are in a mid-life crisis. Focus on this audience, because there's a lot of people in this age category and growing due to current and future economic hard ships and social changes.
Your videos got me through some bad mindsets I had, and plus the english/australian accent doesn't hurt haha

Good stuff, Daniel. I have my own TikTok channel understand these same woes as a content creator. I got burnt-out trying to please the masses. I did a hard reset and decided I was only going to make videos because I wanted to. When I was finding joy in my own content, others were naturally enjoying it too. Not everything will be a banger - that's a given, but you gotta do you. I follow BECAUSE your videos aren't gimmicky, aren't long or overproduced. Thank you for all you do.

Thanks Doc! It is so true that people can tell if you are loving what you are creating. It's not that I wasn't enjoying creating videos over the past month or two, just that I felt they weren't exactly true to me. I am so glad that my simple, authentic style resonates for you! Wishing you all the best, and hope you can join us in the discord too. 😊🙏🏻

Hey Daniel, as a fellow creator I actually struggle with the same problem. I do want my channel to grow, but I don't want that to come at the sacrifice of authenticity. It's such a weird dilemma to be in. Would you be interested in coming on a podcast? I'd love to talk to you about this subject in depth.

Those RUclips "experts" are talking shit.
The kind of people who are here to watch/listen to your videos, are probably mostly people over 30 that are lost in life, looking for guidance, or deep understanding of what we're doing in our lives & if we're "failing"
I don't watch these videos to find instant quick fix tips... Its more about quieting the anxiety & reminding myself through rational answers from someone older than me, that I'm going to be ok, & that I'm not a failure if I don't have it all figured out by 35.
The kind of things you talk about are human problems that will never go away, & therefore could have people in 100 years coming back & listening for advice as they navigate their anxiety ridden 30s!
People still listen to Alan Watts to calm themselves, & he died what? 50 years ago?
