  • While visiting Bemas's operations in Colorado, we managed to capture these older model 631E scrapers going through the cut. This push-pull operation was extremely satisfying to watch and the people at Bemas know how to properly run a job like this. #construction #heavyequipment #constructionequipment

0:25 look at that scraper just sitting there. 2 dozers, one side should already be ripped for the next scraper to make a pass while the other side is getting ripped for the next scraper to make its pass. The dozers are out of sync and should not be blocking the scrapers, scrapers always have the right away. The dozers shouldn't have to cross like that 0:49 and should be working what it looks like 2 scrapers wide. Its a pattern and the next cut pass should always be getting ripped while one side it getting loaded so production is never stopped and scrapers and dozers not sitting confused on where to make the next cut 0:28 . Keep the cut level and from the looks they are digging a hole on one side pretty much 0:40 . Scraper production is an art and love to study and watch videos like this to find ways to improve production.

    Push-pull scrapers,have two engines,and a hook,and bar,to make trains.So they don't need help.These are being push loaded.The dozers just 'helping'.

Cool video, but the dozer ops definitely were not the best at pushing that's for sure, coming on flat, pushing with the blade too high and rolled back. makin the scoops life hard for cutting, at least the cut in the back was down hill!

Wonder why most of the scrapers are ganging up on the one dozer...while there are 2 dozers at the ready in the next cut. Wait until the Project Manager comes around and see it.
