unfortunately axls best combos usually just leave out tornado. and you wont see dabo pull it out in nuetral and get anything off of it cause faust can punish that anywhere
@@umjamer nah tornado have some optimal uses, after corner 2k 2d, CH 2k, a lot of 2S hit, even CH ones, after a low to the ground 6K wallbounce (like for the 6H anti air in corner or TKB 2K 6K shenenigans) and as an alternative corner pickup that does a lil bit more damage but give a lil bit less tension than a standard 6K rainwater. It is still more niche than TKB or rensen, but it can and should be used sometimes
it is a 3 hit projectile which is why Pot can flick it, and also why it beats out so many other projectiles. i think it makes up for it for being slow and a charge input. hope this helps too
@@giant9211 this is gonna be a achtualy 🤓👆 moment but this need to be done im sorry. Ride the lightning is NOT an armored move, like slidehead, hammerfall, heat tackle, or scapegoat. Ride the lightning is a standard reversal, just like vapor thrust or volcanic viper. So it is completly invincible (you have no hurtbox) from frame 1 to 10. The weird thing is that, unlike vapor thrust and volcanic viper, ride the lightning stay active WAY LONGER than the actual invinciblity frames. In short, that mean that ky is invincible only for a handfull of frames after the cinematic flash, after that, it only become a way worse mappa hunch, meaning that it can trade with every move, and lose against every disjointed move. So yeah you can hit a ride the lighning with most 6P of the game, not only with multi hiting moves. You are sitll right with one thing tho, rensen do beat single armored moves like to one above, but still lose against super armored moves (like heavy mob cemetry)
i think axl is just this easy to play almost impossible to master character. even high level players are out here dropping combos cause some of his conversations are just so specific and difficult to read

I wish Dabo would use Nado a bit more in combos. He is doing a lot of season 1 and 2 stuff, but little WA and Nado

at 5:29 why does the combo counter go straight from 2 to 5 when rensen hits? does it count as three hits for some reason?
It is a multi-hit move by nature.
