I have spent years growing pad only to realize the entire branch had to be removed either because I started before the trunk was fully developed or the distance to the first decision wasn’t there. I so wish I had this knowledge from the beginning. Peter is an amazing bonsai artist and unlike other teachers has an ability to explain exactly what to do. He breaks things down to the most basic elements. Like 1-2-3-4. It’s important to do that because there are so many variables. It’s important to stick to basics.
