I was at my in-laws house celebrating Christmas that night. We were about 1/4 mile from Dalrock Road. My in-laws house had very minimal damage. Knocked the AC unit over, knocked a small hole in the edge of the roof. Fourth house down the street west of us was leveled. Nobody in the neighborhood was hurt bad though. Mother Nature ain’t no joke.
I was by schrade middle school at a Christmas party when it hit we all went in bathrooms and closets. The whole entire house shook for a second or 2 then it stopped and nothing els happened. All the houses in that neighborhood were mostly fine
My house didn't take any damage, just the gutter got hit. The walmart across the street in Rowlett was completely destroyed and it just opened a month or 2 before the tornado!
Garland was my home up until 2012. I remember watching this footage thinking "I recognize that spot . That spot.....Holy crap that was less than 10 minutes from my house. My ex bosses neighborhood was spared but the one behind him was wiped away.

I imagine you with your mouth wide open, eyes wide open, practically holding your breath as you watch this, and being dizzy! I don't think Narrator would even do it justice. I'd like to see all these products for blind readers sold on the public market alongside all other products, because it would hopefully bring the price down and make it more widely available to those who are going blind or already blind.
