Interesting video. Did you have a good success rate with the 1/60 of a second shutter speed? I've photographed drag racing at Santa Pod using a 1/80 shutter speed on a tripod with the camera on burst shoot. Success rate is maybe 1/10 but the results are impressive when you nail it.
Thanks mate! I have had success with 1/60, I have tried 1/30 and I think I got a few shots, less than that is blur every where jajaja. Have you tried hand held? it will give you more freedom when panning and you can be faster. However, the cars at Santa Pod are going faster than a circuit race at least the Dragsters and Jet cars 😅.
Hey mate, I don't know if you have watched this video already, I shared some tips on how to do panning, maybe you can find something valuable on this. ruclips.net/video/ptW-ESJVZg8/видео.html Also I would like to practice this photo instagram.com/p/Cxx-nVQu7SZ/ . If there is anything else I can help with I could make a tutorial about it to help and others can learn something new too. Best regards,
