I would like to say it seems easier when the notes and chords are displayed on the screen. It seems to make it easier to follow. Also the fact that you go back to review is very effective. At 4:00 you use a fingering (1-3-5) for Bmajor which is different from what you showed before (1-2-4) at 3:51. Which fingering would you actually recommend ? For me, still to be considered a (maybe slightly advanced) beginner, using the "right" fingers is one of the most challenging tasks with piano playing. By the way, thanks for the great video! There are so many videos that show how to play songs in a "standalone" version (also melody played by piano), but for players that wish to sing along with the piano this is not very helpful.

Such a great tutorial - really well explained and clear to follow. One thing I noticed listening to the track is that in the second part of the first verse, from ‘I have been told’, the chords are played in two parts - I’m sure there’s a musical term for that but I don’t know how to describe it! Would you say the time signature changes from 4 to 8 beats per bar at that point?

I've definitely thought about that! I do always put when I think something would be classed as easy. I guess people have a different idea of what 'easy' 'intermediate' and 'advanced' is!
