Carolyn Gracie was a very nice lady and I loved her great host Carolyn Gracie and Gary sold all them clothes when they were on Gary sold the denim and company clothes and they sold everyone on that every time they had along I ordered some from HSN sometimes but mostly I don't order but. I do like Amee on HSN I used to buy them candle company close but they were so comfortable but I haven't bought any from them in years my clothes inside out from the company knows clothes with last for years years I'm wearing denim and company clothes for the best comfortable clothes and that's the honest
I quit watching HSN a long time ago, have purchased a few things from QVC . After they let Carolyn and Dan go I decided to stop shopping. The merchandise has really gone up in price and some brands lack quality.. Why they kept some of the newer hosts baffles me!
QVC and HSN have changed the down home, real people as hosts. I used keep either show on tv all day, every day, because I watched so much they were like friends. I haven’t watched either show in months. Don’t care for the hosts and everything gotten so costly, shipping and return cost’s expensive. I miss Carolyn. Felt like I knew her.
She's definitely still on air at least once a week I see her. She had a tsv last week of her clothing and did jewelry the week before. Like you say she doesn't host other stuff but she's always selling her stuff.
I've watched Colleen for years and enjoyed her presentations. Also, I frequently watched Bobbie Ray Carter, Lynn Murphy, Amy Morrison and a number of other hosts based on their shows. I have been a member of QVC and HSN for over 27 years and purchased MANY things throughout the years.🙄
One time a years ago, Bobby Ray Carter was hosting a show and a caller came on air and it was her daughter asking where her soccer uniform was and Bobbie calmly told her where it was. Priceless
I liked Bobbi Carter until she turned herself into the cloned version of Adrienne Arpel and got to looking like she was anorexic. She looked like she needed to be in hospital.
I'm totally disappointed that Hsn and especially Qvc are firing some of their most liked and talented hosts only to bring in very inexperienced hosts. The hosts they have recently put on air, leave a lot to be desired! I'm weaning from shopping at these two shopping channels because of that!!
On QVC, I miss the days of Lisa Robertson, Kathy Levine, Dan Hughes, Mary Beth Rowe (yes, I know she's still on) and several others. Lisa and Pat James DeMentri hosted a lot of the 18K gold shows and they wore gowns and were so elegant. Kathy was a riot especially when she hosted with Joan Rivers. These folks have warm personalities; today's hosts seem very intent on selling, selling, selling.
Actually, CVN merged with QVC. OVC was already around when CVN was around. Some hosts were moved to QVC but Colleen wasn't, and she ended up on HSN. This was back when HSN and QVC were separate companies. So did Chris Whitten and Alan Skantz. They came from CVN too. and they were hired before Colleen. Both of them left HSN over 10 years ago, I am not sure, maybe they were laid off or if they left on their own but gone anyway. Alan and Chris were married at one time but divorced and both remarried and had children. both continued to work at HSN for a long time after that. Alan's new wife was a HSN model. I could not believe they kept working together.
@@peachygal4153 - I thought CVN was bought out by QVC, but CVN was the first. I remember watching Colleen and that was the first time I watched a home shopping channel. At that time, CVN was the only one on cable in San Diego, but QVC was picked up later. Do you know if Colleen’s husband was on CVN too? For some reason I thought he was.
I have returned a truck load of merchandise to QVC in the past 3 months. The quality of items has gone way down. I'm convinced the shoes sold on QVC are seconds. The return shipping alone is not worth it; too expensive to try on just to send back. All the clothes look the same, and the models are the only ones who look good in them.
I agree, who cares about the hosts when the products have become too expensive and poor quality. Why buy overpriced things and have to send them back at a cost. It’s not worth it at all you’re always paying something in the end.
Loved Colleen and Lisa. Lisa just got married this past week❤️ She is also closing down her online business so she can travel more. Knowing Lisa she will be successful in whatever comes next!

Colleen Lopez was a delight to work with. I'm Jennifer Juan. I was a guest host for chaco canyon southwestern jewelry which I'm no longer associated with. ( Thank God) Colleen was a hard worker and very dedicated to her work and I've never seen a more amazing person like her give her all to her work. I wish her nothing but the best❣️
She has her own business specifically jewelry and fashion in the Tampa Bay Area. I live in Tampa and I’ve seen her out and about in St Petersburg. She’s one of many that has branched out on her own and now has her own brand.
I agree with everything you said about her, she was great, I miss her. And I think Shannon left HSN to, it seems all the popular hosts left HSN, I know they still got great hosts there, but the host that I'm used to seeing and enjoy isn't here anymore :(
I feel that if QVC had branded Lisa Robertson in the way HSN did Colleen Lopez. Whenever Lisa Robertson would say her line, she had to say QVC! Lisa made QVC and Christmas has never been the say! Both of these women are amazing!
I don't think it was her own terms of not being a host. She was doing both hosting and selling her line pf products and when a new president took over HSN doing both stopped. I think they saw she was double dibbing and they might have said pick one.
I think Colleen is the best . The other host needs to stop talking and let their helpers that come in needs to talk and do interup each other. Then they are all talking at the same time how confusing is THAT. HSN help!!! They need not to interrupt each other. Thank you

I like HSN better than QVC I think QVC is higher in prices. I liked Shannon Smith who got fired from HSN. There hosts are on to long in my opinion 2 hours is enough not 3 hours. Colleen is ok I got some of her earrings which I love. I liked her with Suzanne Somers they were great together but HSN let Suzanne go don’t know why.
I watched Colleen for many years. I first got acquainted when she did Andrew Lessman vitamins. She was so acquainted with all his products. She left him some time ago andI never followed her after that.
I stopped watching or buying when yhe6 decided to get rid of the older hosts and hire all new ones. All you have to do is watch for a day it’s obvious what they were doing.

Colleen is the pioneer of television shopping - she was with CVN before it became QVC. I like Lisa, but Colleen is the OG.

I worked for a company that was owned by HSN. Then we were swallowed up by QVC. They are all under the same ownership, it's Qurate retail group.
