They look beautiful. They're a must it wouldn't be summer without them. This year was a first, here in ocean county now zone 7, I had zinnias from last year coming up in April!!
I had a few brand new terracotta pots and planters just laying in my yard for a few years now, so this spring i decided to spruce up the front of the house and buy some seeds, potting soil and have at it. I had no idea what i was doing nor did i realize that this could become so involved depending on the seeds i was planting, which turned out to be Zinnias. I just emptied a packet of Zinnia seeds into each pot with dirt and started watering, so now as a Zinnia pro, you can only imagine how this went for me and actually how its still going. Yeah, i made all sorts of errors and I've been nursing these plants nearly daily. I had no idea that these things can grow to 10-feet tall or more, a few of mine are more than 3-feet tall now, i had to run around and get trellises, sticks, wire-ties, you name it, i had no idea thay this is how this would go, oh did i mention the white mildew?? Yeah, i got a lot of that too, so then i needed to mix the baking soda and white vinegar with a surfactant......oh brother, this has been some intense learning experience 😢

You must be thrilled! They are having a good season this year too! Love that they came back! I had a few that did that for the first time too!
They all look gorgoeus! I love that coneflower that is behind you.
Thank you! It’s one of my faves too. I love them with that yarrow!
Thank you for answering all my zinnia questions and giving me the encouragement to keep growing them!
I appreciate this so much! Thank you for watching! 🌸
I love the colorful zinnias. Thanks for the informative do's and don'ts of taking care of them.
Thank you so much! Me too! Are you growing them this year?
