When viewing the live data from the steering wheel controls and the module using the buttons of the cruise control stalk I can see the values changing so everything is well connected and communicating with each other. But I get the fault p0568 in the engine module. Do you maybe know why that could be happening?

Hi, thanks for the comment. It's basically same thing, you need to look for a highline steering wheel controller. You need the XXX-953549-XX version, so 2 digits at the end
Hi, it was not needed on mine. The seller should've provided you with an installation procedure manual. Have a look online, I'm pretty sure there should be a guide for it. If you can't find it, let me know.

I have just been researching the process before purchase because the official kit is expensive and I don't particularly want to have to mess with the ecu wiring on install. Also did you use an obd2 to usb cable for vcds or one of their wifi/bluetooth obd2 dongles?

Hi, you're welcome. Yes, it works for octavia mk2 facelift. Just Google for cruise control stalk octavia mk2. Vcds is the software, but you also need the hardware. I have a Chinese clone, I don't recommend clones, but mine never let me down. You can find on ebay, amazon, aliexpress etc.

Salut! In primul rand multumesc pt acest tutorial foarte util! Am urmat toti pasii din video, inclusiv cei cu VCDS... Tempomatul functioneaza absolut normal dar singura problema e ca nu-mi apare martorul din ceasuri atunci cand este activat! Nu am coduri de erori pe VCDS! Ai ideie de unde provine "problema"? Multumesc!
Salut, iti mulțumesc pentru comentariu. Nu am idee de ce nu îți apare in bord, dar atata timp cat functioneaza corect, nu mi-as face griji. Poate led-ul e ars, poti da ceasurile jos si verifica-l. Nu uita sa te abonezi la canal. Am multe filmari doar ca nu am timp sa le editez. Numai bine !
Posibil sa difere plansa de bord ru la Skoda Superb 2 stiu ca exista 2 planse de bord probabil si la skoda octavia 2 ca impart aceeasi platforma,plansa care vine mai standard pe model fara pilot sau alte chestii nu are incorporat in ea acest martor de pilot cel putin asa e la a mea.
Salut , am o Skoda Fabia de 1.0 tsi 95 CP, din 2018, si vine cu limitadorul de viteza instalat, vreau sa Activez Cruise control speed, se poate face cu vagcom, fara SA demontez maneta?
Dacă ai doar limitator de viteza și nu ai buton care sa schimbe între limitatorul de viteza și cruise control, atunci trebuie pusa maneta care are și limitator de viteza și cruise control. Și activat cu vcds
@@OvidiuMarin Ovidiu EU am pe maneta numai limitadorul,dar cu vcds se poate desactiva limitadorul, se intra pe coloana de directie si caut byte pe byte pina gasesec limitadorul si il desactivez, apoi caut optiunes Cruise control speed pe maneta de semnalizare si Activez, apoi intru pe motor si in código 7 caut optiunes de activar Cruise control speed, sar putea SA functioneze, nu vreau maneta cu amindoua, uitete la vídeo si Dami parerea ta ruclips.net/video/1miScBCwrro/видео.html

Hi, my homemade cruise control is working perfectly but the criuse control led on the dashboard not working. Why? I forgot turn on on the vcds?
You need to unlock cruise control menu in the infotainment section 😊

You need vcds or anything that can access the ecu and activate the cruise control.

Hi, thanks. You need highline version steering wheel control module. Not sure where the paddle shifter connects as I never done it.

E un tester mai special care are si functii online. Face mult mai multe decât vagcom, mai ales pe masinile mai noi
