By invisible I think they mean it doesn’t look like there is product in it. But I don’t see how this is any different than every other volume powder marketed not exclusively toward men. I would love to see someone compare this to a regular volume powder because I’m guessing it’s the same thing.
Silica is a moisture absorbent… packs in everything really… also inside diapers. I’m thinking cornstarch/silica. I’m really glad you made this video as my hair is curly and I was hoping for a different result. Curly has is lacking sebum … mine is hella fine, yours coarse, but I don’t think this would HOLD crazy curls *sigh*.
I switch it up frequently cause I have so many, but I always prestyle with 25 Spray and then usually some sea salt. Some favorite finishers lately are Grand Classic Texture Balm and Fuertes clay.
You know what's not flaky? That shiny hair! I wonder if they meant that it doesn't leave a white cast from the powder in the hair? Not sure. -- Your comment on "that's not hair gel" made me think of There's Something About Mary. --- Would you use a comb with a styling powder if you were going to back comb/tease the hair up?
Just found your channel. May I ask what is your favorite styling product for your hair I’m looking to start using something to style my hair can you recommend me something please???
Wish I had watched this before purchasing that powder! Now i am regretting it. What hair product would you recommend for someone with fine and flat hair but wish to achieve a side/slick back style like yours?
With finer hair I usually recommend something more matte, since the shinier/slicker stuff can make your hair look too thin and strandy. Something like Shear Revival Northern Lights would be a user friendly one to start with!
2:30 in and he still hasn't started talking about the actual product, just whining about their marketing... which kinda means that the marketing worked. My kids whine enough as it is, I don’t need to watch this too. Closing out the video now.
I honestly just can’t believe how crusty and low effort these new tik tok style ads are, it’s absolutely ridiculous, none of these companies deserve to blow up
lmao it has nothing to do with however many ads youtube decides to put on my video. The video is what it is because that's what I wanted to make, for funsies and entertainment, and product info.
Hi Matt I know this isn't an OB clay vid but could you give us your top oil based clays at the moment? You're the only men's grooming YT I trust at this point lol
I appreciate that haha! Lately I've been really digging Lockhart's Fire & Brimstone. My other two go-to OB clays are Grand Classic Texture Balm, and Fuertes!
My hair is thinning n looking for something with strong hold n not have the winds mess up hairstyle. Something matte. Do u recommend a powder, clay etc?
I have several products waiting in line already from brands that sent things to me. They get priority. Also a video on an entire lineup takes several days of testing and recording to produce so it will be a while. Sorry.
Lmao my dude you could see the length of the video before you decided to click on it. Clearly I wanted to have some fun and take the time to review their ads and marketing strategy as well as the product itself to provide something different and entertaining. If you wanted a quick and dirty review, I'm sure there are other options out there you could watch instead.
Lol! On a more serious note, what products are you using/recommending latterly? Just starting a second position that’s in-person, so I now have to actually start styling my hair again haha, it’s been a bit since I’ve looked into products
@@TDMStyle Thanks man! I have very thick and straight hair, currently a solid medium length, going for that shorter, more cleaned up "flow" look. Need something that's strong to keep my hair up as its natural instinct is to fall forward into my face and kinda look lord farquaadish hahahaha, preferably something not too much shine and with a mild fragrance (very sensitive to cologne type smells). Would appreciate the input my man!
You'd probably do well with Blackship from Flagship Pomade! It's matte to natural shine, pretty strong and slightly waxy. The black pepper neroli scent is pretty mild!

Bro got something against Tribal Chimp💀
Starts using it around 13:50
I thought he’d never shut up
And then he stops and talks again for 6min to pretend it's taking longer to style. It literally was ready to go in seconds.
Thank youuu

But then you miss out on all the funnies.
Thanks
Thanks. Who came here to watch ads!?

These videos are always so so good
Thank you kindly!
The editing was hilarious 😂 well done sir
Thanks!

I'd suggest checking out the Xmondo Wavetech stuff - really awesome for curls!
I just looked up the mailroom barber powder and it was $30 🤔
Great video Matt! Hopefully they don’t dislike bomb you like that other brand ;)
Haha thank you kindly!
It ends up being about $10 on amazon and free shipping for prime
What product do you normally use on your hair?
I switch it up frequently cause I have so many, but I always prestyle with 25 Spray and then usually some sea salt. Some favorite finishers lately are Grand Classic Texture Balm and Fuertes clay.
So should I buy it? Or something else
I mean hopefully my review gave you enough info on the product to decide for yourself, but personally I'd recommend buying something else.
What product u recommend that’s water based with high or strong hold with matte finish. I got oily thin hair. Thanks

Could be, who knows haha! And LOL at There's Something About Mary, I can't believe I didn't even think of that at the time! 😂

Clay weighs heavy on thin and flat hair @@TDMStyle
@@deejay7339 Nothern Lights is a matte paste, not a clay.

Cool story man
I wonder if it’s dry 🤔🙄
OMG😂, this video was worth the wait🍻

why does this need to be 20 minutes, except so that you can put on multiple ads?
lmao it has nothing to do with however many ads youtube decides to put on my video. The video is what it is because that's what I wanted to make, for funsies and entertainment, and product info.
can you please review the shear revival loom shampoo and conditioner i love the brand but can't find any reviwes
Doesn’t the glass add to that weight tho? 🤷♂️
Nah. Weight on the label is the product itself.
Waaaow I always wanted my forehead to be invisible when I slam into it with my palm. 👀
Damn I miss those crusty ad videos, always crack me up😂 And Hustle, wish I stocked up on that. But yeah, great video, as usual
Yeah, I found a tin of Hustle in my collection and started using it again. I forgot how much I loved it! Sad it's discontinued ;~;

What would be a better powder brand that you know of? Just found out about this powder stuff and you seem to know what your talking about
I really like the Mailroom Barber one I mentioned in the video. TheSalonGuy's Talc is great too!
@@TDMStyle Tanks man, really appreciate it !!
@@lochlanbasile4964 You bet!

Is there another powder that is better?
There are a ton out there - lately I have been enjoying the two I mentioned in the video, the Mailroom Barber texture powder, and TheSalonGuy Talc.
What about the aveda grooming clay?!!!!
Nearly bought this thanks
The Kieran Culkin vibes I'm getting tho
Roman Roy vibes
Any ad that claims "game changer" gonna be a pass for me.
Bro can u upload more videos in a month....and i have a request for a long time- Make a review on arcadian line up😃
I mentioned the upload schedule at the beginning of the video...
@@TDMStyle then put arcadian next please

"No, because that looks like-- conditioner"
I thought for sure we were going a different direction with a C-word there 😅
Can u suggest me some hair powders within 10$?
The Mailroom Barber Co. one that I mentioned at the end of the video is $4 for 0.5oz.
2022 is almost over and you didn't do a "favourites" video yet :(
Holy shit I honestly didn’t even realize I haven’t done one since last summer wtf?? 😵💫
A four minute review hidden in a 25 minute video. If you’re so pressed for time, GET TO THE POINT.

I'm here because of the fucking ads.
No that looks like f$&+ing conditioner 🤣🤣
Was going to comment this last night but my wife and I's cat, Steve, was trying to eat my phone.
Haha, I know how that goes 😂
That wavy hair looks kind of awesome too! :D Do you style like that also sometimes?
Thanks! Once in a while I do that in the summer time, especially if I'm feeling lazy haha
I subscribed because of your red hair.
You gone be breeding that silica every time you style your hair!
To be fair, whatever you put in your hair gets absorbed through your head so…
Great video, good review. Bit tooo looong though! Maybe?
Thanks for the work though, useful and much appreciated
Hair powders have been around for years. This shit is nothing new.
Biggest rip off. Don't bother. It's the tiniest bit of powder.
This video is next level hating 😂 no one is non agenda driven take.
my only real issue with this product is the shit advertising
👍👍
you ir gitin bald
I'm actually not, but you do you booboo. Also, you should _really_ invest in spell check, homie.
22 mins video of waste time
Had to mute u
Cool story
So you could watch him in silence? That’s weird.
Your hair is just too long too
When I filmed this my hair was the same length as the main dude in their ads 🤷🏻♂️
I disagree. I like that length.
love the shirt! will you review ADH products in the future? (andrewdoeshair)
Thanks! And potentially - I've been curious about those for a while.
