I totally forgot how cool this was, and how much it inspired the martial arts (as it's codenamed lol), comic I had been working on, which I definitely will redo. I remember later designing one of the main character somewhat after Scott Adkins lol.

I remember playing this game with my older brother when I was like 9. This announcer really left a lasting impression. I miss whatever genre of music this is. All these funky jams in this 2D Era of fighting games. I don't know much about SnK aside from this game and when Terry came out as DLC in Smash Ultimate(love playing him), but I like how the characters here are displayed in such a way as to mirror each other. Dan is mirrored by that guy that inspired his conception. Akuma is mirrored by that dude who also used some freaky powers and has his own super form like Shin Akuma. Morrigan is mirrored by a cute girl. Sakura is mirrored by another young girl. Cammy is mirrored by some woman who looks also British. Zangief mirrored by an obvious wrestler dude. Idk what connection Chun-Li has with that samurai dude, but... Hey.. Felt like sharing a comment maybe 4 people will see over the course of the next 5 years. This piece of nostalgia... I'm grateful to have been born in a time and place to enjoy such a classic. Got me feeling sentimental
I still wish Andy Bogard, Robert Garcia, Kensou Sie, Marco Rossi, Jon Talbain, Servebot, Yang, and Mega Man would've been part of this amazing roster. It would've been 100 times better.
The most hype fighting game ever made its a pity you need a Dreamcast to play this its one of the reasons I'm sad I missed getting this game and the hardware needed to do it. For the Lucky few who managed to get this game and the hardware to play it. Its time to get the title of the World's Strongest at the Millionaire fighting tournament THIS BATTLE IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE! Those who tell me that Capcom vs SNK 2 wasn't incredible my answer to them is "They don't know" This was the Arcade machine that had the longest lineups of any of them.
