One of my favourite songs in the entire game, yet it doesn't get as many remixes as it should because of One-Winged Angel =/ So glad to see you've done it justice.

Out of all the tracks in FF7 i love this one. Its got that classic ff feel and it incorporates elements from ff7’s tracks into it. It really ties ff7 back to the greater body of work. Great arrangement. It really captures the energy of the original.

Definitely has that Japanese RPG video game sound that the original FF games and FF7 had. I love it
Agreed. I noticed there was kind of a "style" to Uetmatsu's work in FFIV and FFVII, like he had the new capabilities of the console but he hadn't really tried to use them yet. Hence, FFIV sounds more like a "super" version of the old NES/Famicom melodies and FFVII sounds more like a "super" version of the SNES/Super Famicom ones. It's not until FFVIII that more tracks sounded like they were generic "movie score" rather than video game music.

Umm...I really think they need this guy to do the music for the remake. Some of these are even better than Uematsu's orchestral interpretations...
@Brooke Stern he didn't say original, he said orchestral interpretations. He means Uematsu's own remakes.
No matter how good a copy is, it will never be the original, only a copy ...

Most of the HQ / Remastered / etc. remakes of video game music I hear are.. a bit strange in the way they're arranged, and sorta poorly done; they miss the point of what a higher quality remake ought to sound like.
