- Wow! I am finally doing a video that has been beyond highly requested! Today I'm doing a full Adwoa Beauty wash day and giving you guys all the tea. Omgosh! That DC literally melted into your strands. This is what the Miche DC's do in my hair. Like IDK what kind of sorcery is in Miche DC's but I understand the hype now lmao I love the simplistic yet sleek packaging of Adwoa. And girl don't feel bad about your twist out. I'm a wash n go queen too. Lol
Miche is literal sorcery lol! There’s literally nothing like those dc’s. Adwoa definitely came through on packaging and formulation. And sis you know us wash n go girls fight with the twist outs 🤣🤣 I really need to practice more lol!
The Third Eye Angel girl I gave TF up after trying them twice. Lmao I have wash n go's down. It's nothing. So I thought it was easier to do a twist out. Wrong ! I looked a hot mess both times and just decided to stay away from them. Lol ! However, I will twist my hair and rock mini twists for a week or two when I wanna give my hair a break from wash n go's. I may see what Adwoa is hitting for on Black Friday. Like you, I loooovvve shampoos! Right now, Miche is my favorite. The original TGIN shampoo is a good one too.

I agree with all your thoughts. I used this box on my last wash day and it was amazing. I knew by the texture the cream wouldn't give a lasting twist out for me without being paired with a gel on top. So instead, I used the leave in and cream under Wetline for a wash and go. I'm on day 5 and my hair is still moisturized. I work outside and it's currently fall/winter temperatures. Not to to mention my hair is dense (4A/4B/4C) so for my hair to still be moisturized and going strong is nothing short of a miracle. I wish I would've gotten two boxes like you did, this line is a staple to have in your arsenal. I also really want to try the gel but I hate that it has glycerine so high on the ingredient list. That tends to dry my hair out.

Oof yes! This is definitely gonna be a good line for me now that it’s getting cold. We need every drop of moisture possible.
I just finished washing & flat twisting my hair about an hour ago. Sooo glad I got this Adwoa CurlBox! I agree that the balance of moisture and strength is awesome. I have the gel because I bought the Adwoa sample pack about a week before CurlBox announced the box; will use it next week (it's a 3oz jar). I think your twist out is fab!
I don’t think it’s your fluffing, I don’t think this cream has great hold. I’m giving it away because it still needs to be layered with a gel or mousse. That’s a no for me for the price

I have the same problems as you with twistouts. I Love my wash and goes. Do what works.
Great review and your hair looks lovely. I like the non subscription CurlBox's too and got this box. Looking forward to trying these products. Twistouts don't work for me either, don't seem to keep definition my hair goes straight so I will do a WNG. 🥰

She didn’t pay 30 dollar . She spent 70.00 and that is how much it cost when you sign up with them. She said her bill was 70.00. 🙄 so it’s always there. I will be getting this on my next wash day. I just got NaturAll club and I do like. I just want more then one brand for my hair. At 1:12 she said 70.00 dollars. So I don’t need this program. I will be going on there site. I just looked it up. Don’t need this box club.

I didn't get two boxes incase I didn't like it and that was a good decision because nothing wowed me 😔. The shampoo made my scalp feel good and was cleansing without stripping but my hair felt tangled (even though I detangle before and kept my hair in twist), the DC was best thing (even though it lack the slip and sat on my hair until I out heat on it )so far even though I don't think it was anything life changing my hair was soft/hydrated and nice mint feeling. The leave-in slip was mediocre and adding more water made it worse almost straw like. The oils okay. The cream didn't feel any better than the leave-in and gave definition but nothing amazing definition too light. My hair kind of feel like it has a film and it kept tangling up. It was still moisturised tho🙁. I'll try them again but not feeling it so far.

@@TheThirdEyeAngel might be mint type ingredients because my hair reacts same to citrus type ingredients. Almost 4days with cold weather and my hair is still soft and moisturized is just the application process that had my hair in knots that I had to cut some but I'll still again 🤞🏽
Ah yeah that’s probably it. Those mint species have are very rich in Vitamin C so if your hair tends to react to that then that’s why. I hate when the application sucks but at least you got the moisture!
I want to try this line, but I'm nervous about the coconut oil in styling products ( I usually break out even on my scalp with regular coconut oil). What's better the cream or the gel? I usually use uncle funky's daughter gel.

I’m going to be the odd chick out. I bought the sample pack. I normally love minty products, but I’m sitting here and I can feel that minty “burn” on the back of my neck from the leave-in and the oil. And the smell is not vanishing. I like the shampoo and defining cream, which doesn’t have that strong smell. But....I’m still looking for my new line. 😢
Does this product work on hair that's transitioning from relaxed to natural? I still have alot of perm in my hair.
I think these products would be great because they’re perfectly moisture-protein balanced which is so important when you’re transitioning. I personal did Bantu knots and twist out when I was transitioning and the styling cream would be great for that too!
I used it on my transiting hair (started March 2020 due to ‘rona), and it was great! I’ve never tried a shampoo like it! I have the adwoa beauty shampoo, deep conditioner, leave-in, and cream and love them all! I styled my hair in a perm rod set using these products, Lotta Body mousse, and oil (Melanin Haircare oil, coconut oil, and JBCO). I use what I call the LOCO method (leave-in, coconut oil, cream, and Melanin/JBCO oil mixed). Moisture for days!
