We have plenty of ticks around here . . . IF you go into the woods! Oddly, I rarely come across them around the house, or on the dog. Last one I had - I had a very itchy bump from it, for about two months!
I will be keeping an eye on things to be sure. Almost funny how such a tiny, disgusting, bug can do so much damage!
Yikes! I'm so careful about ticks. In 2008 I was hospitalized for 24 hours due to what the CDC doctor called a severe allergic reaction to a tick bite. I didn't realize it was a tick bite because the tick was gone. Just had a bite and a lovely angry rash to go with it.
Glad you captured your tick so you'll know what you're dealing with. Sounds like you probably got him off in time!
Yikes is right!
A close friend of mine got lime disease and struggled for a couple years with it. I think he's better now and that reminds me I better call him or least message him soon.
This is one of few concerns, BUT who knows maybe being sugar-FREE will have provided me some extra protection?
