The theme for that week on Immortal Songs competition was” Back to the past”. All the participants had to choose old songs . Forestella went the furthest with a song from the middle ages. And executed it brilliantly, ofcourse keeping the competition requirements in mind. Btw:They are not kpop. Forestella is a crossover group not a pop group. So you can call them k-crossover if you like . They perform multiple genres and and sing in multiple languages often within the same song. Their latin covers are very popular in Spanish speaking countries . Check out their “ Despacito” or “Maldita Sia me suerte” . But if you prefer french song check: “ Je Suis Malade”. If you like Russian check “ Inner Universe” . And the list goes on. I can give you a genre based categorization in the next reaction.
Good reaction. They did two verses. From memory there are 4-5 with the traditional song - including the acre of land bit that you mentioned, which they dropped. They did the same thing with Sound Of Silence: dropped a verse but inserted their own variation which was absolutely beautiful.
