It may be a positive thing that becomes the new addiction but it’s still an addiction. Tom knows that he has replaced the alcohol and drugs with his music and being on the grind. Tom has also admitted that taking a break would result in withdrawals, no less brutal than when he got clean. It is a 2-edged sword. Tom has been able to lock this demon down again. He wrote this a few months back when he was stuck in the depression for roughly 3 weeks, finding it difficult to just get out of bed. He’s good now and really appreciates all the love and support from the H.O.G. #hangovergang forever ✌🏽 My comment to Tom ------- Damn bro, I felt this at a visceral level and was brought to tears, for 2 reasons: 1st: because I don’t enjoy seeing anyone this depressed and I wish I could do something to help 2nd: because I’ve been there, not with fame but feeling that I failed my wife and 4 kids. Thinking they would be better off if I was gone is a very bad place to be.
