Reverse Gear is not important at all. Its just a reverse, nobody uses it for drift 😁👍🏻
That’s what I always thought but then some people questioned it so I wasn’t sure

hey,i have a problem where i cant catch up to people in multiplayer.(falcon 90s sr20 swap) im at 4200cups in legend but cant go any higher because going out of corners i get left behind so badly.can you help me what should i try in the settings to help that?

Tier 2 favorite is Phoenix NX with 3.8L V6TT

I have one question to which I very much need an answer. My GTR satisfies me in every way except fast acceleration from the ground. I go to the championships well, but many cars are so out of place that I can not go back and maybe you can tell me how to tune so that I can go faster? (I have other components besides speed and I do not want to change)..
I would try to change the gear ratio of first and second gear to see if that helps! Otherwise lower the tire pressure or lower the camber in the rear.

You have to upgrade the car to drift III before tuning is available

Go to the garage, then click tuning, then to the custom tab and set that then click it again to adjust settings!

It shows, when you go to the garage, click on tuning, then right there at the bottom it’ll say (upgrades|Engine|Custom) click custom and you can adjust your settings.

Nice info dude, been looking for a helpful vid this helped me alot! Thx. I have a request Can you like explain how to know when to change and what gear you have to be when drifting?
You want high RPM in drifting so I usually say stay in a gear until it is bouncing off rev limiter, then it’s time to shift to the next gear!
And then when ur slowing down u have to down shift because ur RPM will go back down and the lower the RPM the less torque u have to spin the wheels
Yeah when the rpm keeps dropping even at full throttle is time to downshift, it means the car doesn’t have enough torque at that point and can’t power through that gear so a downshift is necessary
It would be good if you put subtitles in Spanish for people who don't speak Spanish that I find it very difficult to understand
i can't tune other car because some car didn't show some custom tuning damn the game is really hard to me :

Yeah you pick a track to do the settings at! And pro drift 3 is what allows you to adjust all the settings possible
I think its better to remove the color in your smoke..
Why is that? Do you think it’s unfair to have color smoke or something?
@@BroghammerAutohausInc I mean what if your opponent can't see the road because of your smoke but it's okay if you won't
Each person can turn down the smoke on their own settings if it’s too much it’ll reduce the smoke when they chase me.

How do i find the custom settings? I've been looking around for custom settings and i couldn't find it, i selected everything and i can't find the custom settings, mind if can you please help me to find the custom settings, i would be very appreciated (I'm getting stressed by finding it)
The car needs to be upgraded before it becomes available, I think at street or pro street tuning it’s available. That when the custom tab will show up next to the engines tab in the tuning section.

Why dont you explain how the fuck you get to that first? This game is difficult to get around in general. I got there once but god only knows how i did it. Bout to delete if no one helps
Granted im level 3, and ive pressed every god dang button i can just to find it. From campaign to single player, through all the buttons on the top left. Its bullshit.
Take a deep breath, go to the garage, then to the tuning tab at the bottom of the screen, once you’re there you will see a “custom” tab to change the settings, but that tab won’t show up until you have upgraded the car to street 3 level or higher! So if you haven’t upgraded the car it won’t be an option.

For the suspension,i always have the front suspension 1 or 1.5 inches hugher than the front,i cant really remember cause its been a while since the last time i played,but thats what i normally do to most of,if not all my drift builds
I saw someone do it to a nissan 350z on instagram,and then i decided to try it out on the bimmy p30,and most of my drift cars,and tbh,i love the way how the bimmy p30 feels,like it has some good grip,also the sway bar gives the car some height also,so most times i tend to leave it low,but keep the suspension high,how does that help grip wise?

So copy ID to clipboard means it copies your player ID to your keyboard clipboard so you can copy paste it after you save it to your clipboard hold down when you go to type and click copy and it will paste it that's for helping people share their name and link up in races

Can these be apply to real life tuning? If so, we can definitely learn more about modifying cars from this game.
To an extent the tuning does react similar to how it would in real life and how people tune their cars, however I wouldn’t suggest taking my tuning numbers and putting them on your real car haha

Yes because the test drives are the car when fully upgraded, you need to upgrade the car to pro drift 3 to get it to slide like the test drive!

No you just have to keep upgrading the car until it’s pro drift 3 which unlocks all the settings

Once you get to a certain tuning level custom becomes available, I think it’s at pro street 3 or something like that
is it possible to do a racing build that doesn't drift on its own?
In sure there’s some way to make a decent tune for grip racing but there would be no point in doing that for this game, it wouldn’t reward you any points or money…

If you don’t have the car upgraded to pro drift 3 not all the tuning will be available
I figured out reverse. Lowering it increases your top speed in reverse and raising it increases acceleration but lowers top speed in reverse
Can you give me any tips on smooth tunes? All of my tunes are not smooth and im having trouble tandeming
Watch some of my tuning videos, those might help give you an idea of what to change on your car. Go to the vehicle specific tunes playlist on my channel

The car needs to be upgraded a little bit before it becomes available. But once it is, go to the tuning section in the garage, then at the bottom right hit set to set custom then hit settings and you’ll be there!
Better way of saying it would be go to tuning, hit the custom tab that’s by the engine swaps. Then hit the set button on the bottom right and click settings

The tuning section in the garage, and to edit the tuning settings you have to have the car upgraded first. Then tuning becomes available

Appreciate the hard work.I hate to say it but most information from this video is misleading the audience,and I bet you can't properly tune a car that can do a full wallride on kamiroad.Any way I was quite enjoyed your videos,and I'm happy to share my knowledge or any info I've gathered in the game.

@@BroghammerAutohausInc That chinese player on most track who is top 1 in the game, was one of my trainee. And I will try to explain some of the tuning specs, then you would know I'm serious about this. Or if you are interesting in his tuning specs, I know all the detail.
Anyway, caster irl is mostly took as huge impact on steering self align and stability, but in the game it's all about camber gain, the right caster would give the right amounts of camber gain which leads to a more precisely drifting line, and I believe that right caster is falling between 7 to 8 cause each car in the game has same amout of kinpin angle.
Another example is we want the center of mass as high as possible in the game cause it has a positive affect on acceleration.
As for the front wheel toe,we don't want anything negative than -0.16 to stay tight, unless we are intently going for a lose steering curve.
The rear wheel toe is to compensate the wheelbase, so the rear end of the car will follow a tighter line to the front.
Some of the cars in the game has very tiny suspension travel, it's better to avoid cars like that if we are competing.
