He is a legend and there's never been a radio show like his and never will be. Without him, I'd never have known Fred Dagg or Dr Poo or all the incredible characters and songs he and his team created on 2MMM. There were so many times I missed the bus or train because I had to keep listening.
I grew up listening to the legendary Doug Mulray when he was on 2MMM, and he was hilarious.

I remember him asking Peter Fitzsimons the colour of his kids eyes, Peter couldn't remember and then turned it back on Dougie n said, ok then Dougie ,what colour are Lizzies eyes? to which Dougie replied.... they're brown... all three of them !!

I grew up a DOUG Dependant .. still the best radio show of alltime .. I long for the days of Gloria, Rollin Rolladoor, Madam Zenda and co.

Doug was responsible for so many classic characters. I especially liked Bogdan the Turnip Boy (a general send up of all those SBS dramas and movies).
