I totally agree. I think this is better for special occasions rather than the regular Saturday owambe that most people tend to be in a hurry. Thank you for watching ❤️
I like what you are doing, keep it up, we are following. You can also add English subtitles for those that can't hear well but they can read clearly. Kudos to u
Hi dear I'm convinced You used to types of pin in your videos Office pin and pls can you tell me about the other one? And how to get it? Kudos to YOU❤ I'm more than a beginner.
Thank you. Yes sometimes I use the regular office pins and other sometimes, I use dress maker's pin. You can find it at any shop where tailoring materials are sold.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting. If your fabric isn't too soft and you pin correctly, It should stand. If you are skeptical about the pins, consider tacking them down with needle and thread instead but honestly most gele artists have mastered the art of pinning without poking the client's scalp. Hope this helps
I guess so. I honestly don't know how to use staple pins for gele but I know a couple of makeup artists that prefer staple pins so if that is what works for you please go ahead and use it.
This particular one I used is called aso oke. If you're in Lagos, you can get from Lagos Island, oshodi or any market where traditional wears are sold. Hope this helps?
The special style can actually be spread out. In fact it has several versions as would suit the individual's preference. I have an another tutorial of a different variation planned out. It will go live in the near future but. Thanks for watching ❤️ 💕 💞 💓 💗
No they don't mind and you need to pin in a way that it won't poke the client's skull. If you can't handle pins, use needle and thread but that's more time consuming. Thanks for watching 💞

This is really nice but it would have been better if the 'special' style was for both sides of the gele.
The special style can actually be spread out. In fact it has several versions as would suit the individual's preference. I have an another tutorial of a different variation planned out. It will go live in the near future but. Thanks for watching ❤️ 💕 💞 💓 💗

You leave the client with the pins on their head? They don't mind?
No they don't mind and you need to pin in a way that it won't poke the client's skull.
If you can't handle pins, use needle and thread but that's more time consuming.
