Click here for link to chord chart: drive.google.c... One of my favorite songs from the old Rankin Bass Animated Hobbit Movie, as performed by Glenn Yarborough.
Ah, well it depends on the chord, but in general it's a pretty typical folk fingerpicking pattern- Thumb-Middle-Thumb-Pointer. If you're not familiar with finger-style guitar already this song might not be an ideal place to start.
I’ve seen sheet music online, usually transcribed for easy piano or something like that. If you’re able to read music and/or transpose I imagine that would help.
nice vibrato
Underrated song, great video. I'll have to learn it now! Thinking of covering GY's "Roads Go Ever, Ever On"
That one is great too!
I have the chords for that. If you want them.
Your beard as dwarf, and good song, thanks from Russia.
Thank you. I have always hoped my beard would be as dwarf.
Roads go ever ever on.
Truly. Such beautiful lines from Tolkien.
This is awesome.
Huge Thanks!!!
You're welcome!
Could you possibly show the picking pattern for each of the chords? Otherwise, awesome vid!
I'm not sure what you mean, a close-up of my right hand is in the video.
Which strings you pick in order, I know the close up is there, but it’s somewhat hard to tell. Currently trying to learn it lol

This is a dumb question but are you in standard?
Yep!
I actually want to learn to play this on a tin whistle. ( the only instrument I can play). But I have no idea how to get the tabs for it.
