    7:04 "you have a chance of a misfire but it never happened to me so far" this is what we call foreshadowing. Now every closed bolt gun will misfire or jam if below 93% durability guaranteed. Even sooner too if you have a full auto gun with high fire rate and suppressor and high heat and misfire chance ammunition.
    Meanwhile I am 0 durability IWI UZI 9mm SMG with 63.25 MOA and still full auto with 50 round stick mags, clapping scavs and pmcs no problem because its open bolt machine gun.

    This is a great video! I would say it's not as bad as it seems since most combat in game happens under 50m. 100m kills are pretty rare and hardly possible on half of the maps (hence everyone's hatred of Shooter Born In Heaven). I do appreciate you doing the research and breaking this down to simple terms, gives me an idea of when to ditch a gun. Granted, I'd have to survive enough raids with a single gun for it to ever drop that low :P

      @Psychobob 3 года назад

      @@NicholasLaRosa0496 You don't. Speed beats armor. Bullets with harder materials that fly faster have better penetration. Then obviously a bigger caliber has more energy behind it as well.
      With the reworked armor it won't matter as much because all ammo will be more viable. The armor will only protect what it covers.
      You don't need to know the difference between materials for penetration. The difference between them right now is basically just how well they repair. That won't matter when they introduce the reworked armor system either. When they do change the armor system different materials might matter. Depends how far they take it.
      The armor class is all you need to know for the penetration. Higher is tougher to pen. You don't really need to know more right now.
      Actually looking at the ammo right now the info on them is a lot more detailed than it used to be.

      Its still rather wrong as main thing that affects accuracy is barrel. Every barrel have its limits in numbers of rounds which should be represented in game and if you exceed it, it gets baaaad. Then everything that should matter to regain absolute most of accuracy back, should be mounting new barrel into the gun.

My 7 K or so ADAR builds from scav ADARs (Skier sells the reciever for that much, maybe closer to 8K) ! What will I do after that...)

      @@JustAnotherRandomPersonOnline i think they are fully aware of how durable real life guns are (provided they are manufactured without issues), and make them a lot less durable in game on purpose so that players would have a chance to experience the mechanic and actually consider it before going in raid and thus carry a spare gun or not put themselves in situations where a jam will insakill them. just like with food and water, there's no way in hell a person will die after not eating for an hour, but because they made it so in game, if you forget to eat after one raid you're bound to have problems in the next. if they went for realism instead of "realistic", so many features and mechanics wouldn't even matter and then it wouldn't even be a game.

    I hate that we can't fully repair weapons. I assume it'll be a thing later on though.
    I sorta wish each part had it's own durability and you could just replace the part to bring the weapon's full durability back. Each part could increase the chances of a different type of malfunction as well.

I've missed maybe 2-3 headshots that I know I should have hit. So it's strange to see that I should be missing a lot more. Then again, I spammed a lot of factory for leveling purposes, so maybe that's why.

I do some sniping with a pu mosin and the bullet seem to hit right on target but when I use high magnified scope like hensoldt the shot would almost miss the target even tho I do zeroing to the number req for accurate shot as possible I could get. Just my experience and idk if there a bug or it just me.

But I did find this explanation "Though many people have adapted to the MOA standard, another system, the MilRad lives in the metric world. A MilRad is equal to one 1000th of the target range. This is laid out in a circle around the shooters position, with the target range as the radius. Which means, 2 x π x 1000. Therefore 1 MOA = 0.2908 MilRad. Adjusting one Milrad up at 100 metres will result in an offset of 100 mm. The markings on a reticle that mark MilRads are called MilDots. Such a reticle is called a MilDot Reticle."

      MOA and milliradians are measuring the exact same thing, it's basic trigonometry applied over distance. One system is metric, the other is standard, neither is "retarded". The standard MOA system allows for smaller incremental adjustments at range while Mil Rads, or just the metric system in general, is a bit simpler to communicate to others. It's just math guys.
