Large trucks have extra suspension tyres they basically use them when they are fully loaded and when they use to run empty they lift them up.

Truck mai ek pair hydrulic tyres ke hote hai.. jab load jyada hota hai to woh usko down kar dete hai.. or jab load nahi hota hai to woh usko lift kar dete hai..

These trucks have suspendable axles. When the truck is loaded all the tires would be down but when it's empty they lift the axle.

Hi Stray Artist.....trucks basically have different types of axle's . When behind tandem axle it's Tag axle and in front it's called pusher axle. Pusher and Tag can be lifted as per usage and truck model. Google should explain with visuals....haha😬

Jab truck pe extra load hota hai only then they use this extra tyre system as support for easy drive. And it is a hydraulic working system.

Yeh truck ke extra tyre hote h ...joh ki truck ke hydrolic system se less hote h ...jb kabhi truck heavy loded hota hai toh truck driver unh extra tyre ko hydolic ki help se apne cabin mai switch dwara niche krke truck ka wait extra tyre laga kr cntrl kr leta h ...aur khali rhene pr unhe wapas uncha rakhta h ...only extra load pr hi kaam leta h ...😎

transport rule के according per axle load count होता है, truck manufacturer ne जुगाड़ लगा कर two types lift axle adjust kr दिए ताकि truck में पहले से extra load जा सके, एक axle बीच में लगा दिया , कुछ manufacturer ने extra mind लगा कर 2 काम करने की सोची उसने जो axle पीछे लगया h उसका एक purpuse to pura ho gya extra load का, piche wale lift axle का एक काम और होता है जब Road pr kabhi sharp turn होता है तो पीछे वाला axle opposite direction में turn होता है लेकिन ये प्रयोग ज्यादा सफल नहीं हो सका क्योंकि वो dead axle होता है जबकि live axle m turning power देते to thik होता.

As recommended weight limit trucks use hydraulics wheels to distribute weight thats why you see some trucks with unused hydraulic operated balancing wheels

for truck wali confusion, bs itna smjhlo ki wo lift axle hota hai. kisi me bichme ya kisi me last me. jb load na ho truck pe to wear and tear se bachane ke liye unko lift krdete hai
