Orlando is surely not the best place to live in Florida.
Recent stats have said Tampa Bay, Florida is the best city to live in the U.S. Don't know how if it is affected by the hurricanes out there.
Would not mind warm winters or staying in Florida the entire winter from November through March but don't want to be in Hurricane alley and don't want alligators in my backyard or house.
If no good place for warm winters in U.S. maybe you could spend winter in Australia where our winter is their summer. Hawaii not bad either for winter, warm but has super downpours.

I live in Orlando and NO it’s not hot and humid all the time. It is from late April/early May til mid October. In winter it drops overnight to the 40’s. This week it’s been 76* low humidity and sunny.
But yes it’s overrun with obnoxious tourists 3/4 of the year.

I thought you were being sarcastic…what’s to like about sweating in traffic in Orlando…I lived in south Florida and there they don’t even consider Orlando as Florida….far from the beach…no ocean breeze and tons of bugs and stagnant oppressive heat….if you can afford it be close to the coast…in South Florida or even central ..the northern part of Florida (especially inland doesn’t offer the best that Florida has to offer except being cheaper

George, I have been to Florida in the spring, you have to dodge the popular places. The spring fed parks are awesome. One thing I noted in Florda, no left turns, they have engineered traffic to only take right turns. I guess they have no liberals there anymore, lol.
