It's the pace of the video, lets you notice small things, like rolling a brush off the back of a fragile decal, or using clingfilm as a mask extension. Great vid.
Wow, simply amazing!!! All the skills and tools put in together. I used to build model kits long ago and since then stopped almost 12 years ago already. Seeing such nicely done kit surely gets me going again, but definitely not sure if i can still have good hands like this now.
I’m getting this kit as my first build. I hope I can do it. I really like the sticker of the sun rays that come with it. I might paint mine a little different but I’m not sure yet. I’ll see when I get it.
What scale is your die-cast model? You know not every model is same size right? This model kit is 1/24 scale, and using only wide body kit is a waste. You can try buying resin body kit from "hiroboy" or fabricate your own completely from 0. It wont be simple installation process in any way...
I’ve literally been attached to car modelling in the past month or two and I’ve made a huge list of what I’m getting to start my journey but my hearts just been broken. I’m moving to Cyprus this month (from the UK) and I’ve just found that half off the things that I need are not allowed to be shipped there (spray paints, glue, primer etc) and now I’m so sad that something I’ve just began to love has basically just left me 😭 And now I can’t find anywhere in Cyprus that does good primer, glue and the actual stuff I need RIP 😭😭
Model was 40€ paints ant glues were about another 40 (knowing this model is quite basic with not so many colors ) and you won't be using up all of them completely... So about 110€+ for model , paint ant glue... Not counting in tools like airbrush
@@Atte123 yes, just cut away intercooler parts that won't be visible, like pre-defined mounting spots. And cut out some of the bumper from other side, but be careful don't cut away chassis mounting spots.
It's pretty simple to mod the radiator so that it can be installed after painting the body. Only have to cut off a few bits of plastic. Definitely worth the effort to avoid the hassle of masking to paint the radiator separately.
I am not an expert in those things, but you simply slide on wheels till they reach stopping point, and model already has some camber, no mods required :)
Cut out decal, use warm water, cut piece bigger than a decal itself. Place the whole piece on to the model surface, wet area where decal goes, and with soft brush transfer decal from paper to model, without any kind of lifting or peeling decal, just smooth transition thru wet area...
Great job. Did you thin the X10 clear coat? Did you wet sand and polish after it dried for a few days? Sometimes I think 2K automotive clear coat looks too thick.

Yes, It was very bendy and difficult to shape. I gave up painting it with correct color. It is not glued to model with intention to replace it with photo-etched aftermarket one :) Thanks for question!
Enjoyed every single second of this video! But I have a queestion, how do you do with the nubs after you spray paint and cut off the parts? For example, the brakes on the frame you painted gold, but how do you deal with the nub having different color?
I touch up them with brush, it doesn't really matter when its on side, however on flat surface where decal goes I use airbrush to keep layer of paint as thin as possible.
i didn't give you the hard way to make it actual but it look nice❤️ i love that. How bout the light can you make it real? mybe you can put some led and battery to your lights car? 😁
@@RevelationOne Model cars with custom body kits tend to be more expensive than regular versions, f.e. the same R35 in stock config will cost 35$. And there is model car kits that start at 15$ (Fujimi). At the end You cant really put price tag on the enjoyment and fun you get building one of those :)
I'm amazed at how beautiful and clear your videos are, lighting and everything is perfect along with your modeling skills!
Thanks :), learned lots of tricks from You :)
@@StaticModel where can I buy this kit?
That’s nicely done! Lots of modeling skills involved in this build. I have learned a lot from watching your builds. Thank you for sharing!

omfg the finished model looks dope 🔥🔥
Thanks man :)
I truly like your videos very educational I do my research before I buy my kits ! Great building skills

Also thinking about getting thos as my second build after revell audi r8, is this too hard for me😅💁🏻♂️
How did it turn out?
Wow it looks awesome! I might get this model. I already have some experience, so hopefully I can build it.
Nice build, very inspirational 🙌🏼
Спасибо за Русские субтитры!👍👍👍👍
Great job. Some black panelline washes would really pop out on the white body paint.
I was thinking about it, but sadly paint layer is quite too thick :) Perhaps needed to do some panel line scribing :)
Nice work 👍 from Japan 🇯🇵😊
Thanks :)
Beautiful build brother...wow
Wow! Nice built!
it is enough to soak the stickers with water or do you need glue??? 🙏
Water is enough. But for some sections (rear bumper) you need decal softening solution.
@@StaticModel thanks
Bad Ass dude, so mean looking. Keep building these cool cars.
very beautiful gt-r😍
Build me one! Looks dope af! Keep up the good work
Do u build and sell these?
I like the music. What is the artist / track for the first song?
I love it!!!
Where did you buy this? Can i have a link? Thanks👍🏻
Hi, at local hobby store, they don't have web page. But maker is Aoshima.
I have a metal model of a gtr if I bought the kid do you think I could put the body kit on that instead

Ship by a currier, don't take it with you on planes.
i liked the video up to the part where you mentioned "cheap Chinese rotary tool". was the race labeling necessary?
I don't get what's wrong? But when you focus so much on it, now it really sounds like something odd...
@@StaticModel nice sick build there btw
@@kiynuhcnat Thanks, take care:)
how did you you do the side windows without getting paint on it
I masked them off with masking tape.
how much do you spent for all the stuff you need to build this car incl. the model ?

Awesome my friend !
Hello friend . You know what kind of plastic is that white body shell?
Polystyrene most of the time.
@@StaticModel Thank you very much appreciated
Just got mine today! What do you think were the hardest things to do on this build?
Waiting paint to fully cure is the hardest part :D I had troubles with spoiler, in the end just left it as it is...
@@StaticModel do you think i could somehow add the front bumper afterwards with the intercooler and front ”grill” painted separately?
@@Atte123 yes, just cut away intercooler parts that won't be visible, like pre-defined mounting spots. And cut out some of the bumper from other side, but be careful don't cut away chassis mounting spots.
@@StaticModel maybe I could try that, so much easier to detail and paint the bumper and intercooler and grill
Much easier to use sanding barrel than to heat up plastic and cut by hand on fenders
I guess, if you have it... I used what I had on hand.

loooks cool. i want to get into this stuff but I have 1 question. do you have any tips on how to apply decals cause i always struggle and break them.

Hi, it's very nice job! Would you please tell me which color you used for the rear exhaust? :)
Tamiya clear orange, yellow clear ,clear blue. Left stock chrome plating.
Hello do you know why when i use tamiya x22 for clear coating it never dries completely please ?
You could be living in humid area where it takes long time to cure.
@@StaticModel ok thanks👍
@@davidwozny3484 in Lithuania it takes about 1 week before I can touch it.

Round 2 Models or Model Roundup or Hobbylink, a website l order mostly from is AK Collectibles Model Cars and More, hope this helps

Where can we buy this on sir?
It depends from where are You from, try looking at Your local hobby stores, or Ebay as a last resort option.

You can start with Aoshima pre painted model series, main parts are usually pre painted and it's easier for begginer.
