Christ died for our original sin on the cross. The old covanent is over and the new Covanent of Grace assures that any that ask for God's salvation shall receive it. Obviously a huge wrench in most denominations, especislly with catholics, who want to keep you running on the hampster wheel, and maybe if you do enough good work, you'll be saved. Believe and spread the word friend.
Eastern and Oriental orthodoxy also reject the doctrine of original sin. You'll probably have more luck finding detailed arguments for that position from the Orthodox. It might be more accurate to say we reject the concept of guilt being transmitted from Adam to everyone else. People are guilty because of their own sins.
Just another man made denomination. Jesus created One Church 2,000 years ago. It’s been going strong ever since despite folks like Luther, Calvin, etc and all the tens of thousands of Protestant denominations created by people since then.
If you think that the catholic or the orthodox church is the church of Jesus, you could not be more wrong, and more blind, lost, and deceived. Not necessarily. We consider ourselves non-denominational and have fully independent congregations. We are however, externally grouped together because of our history and beliefs.
My family (from Middle Tennessee) always distinguished between what you refer to as Noninstrumental Church of Christ and, I suppose, Instrumental as Organic and Inorganic Campbellites. Yes, we're Presbyterians.
Just wanted to how come you have never talked about The Western Rite Orthodox Church to go with your various videos on the Eastern and Oriental Orthodox Churches? Also there are a lot of Catholics that are not Roman Catholic. You could do some more videos on the various Catholic churches to.
Actually, as believers we are never 'independent,' but joined to Christ. Thus, 'church' is made up of every believer in Jesus Christ. Church IS NOT a building. We let Him live His life in and through us. Revisit John 15: 5 Blessings,
There is no one in any church that is joined to Christ. The few who Jesus came to save have nothing to do with anything known as the church. If anyone is in any church, they do not belong to Jesus, they belong to the Godless world and to is counterfeit (antichrist) christianity. Jesus's church is a spiritual church that is made up of the few who Jesus came to save. Again, these few have nothing whatsoever to do with anything known as the church.
I think it would be appropriate to add that a church should believe whatever their bylaws say they believe, and if you want to know, go read the bylaws. Since every 501(3)(c) is required to submit them, they should be easy to obtain from a loving organization with nothing to hide. Additionally, IMO, if you ask a church for bylaws and get the run around, you best move on to another building or file a FOIA request for further investigation. In my experience, updating bylaws can be as hard as getting the FEDs to change the tax code. If the leadership of the church is misaligned with the bylaws of the church, you should expect a colorful varity of answers when you ask questions about what the church believes.
All one needs to know is, there is no church that understands nor holds to the Christianity of the Bible. They are all apostate. The last thing you will find in any church is the truth and the Christianity of the Bible.

"But not the only Christians" - that is a peculiar statement since this is not what they believe nor act towards other believers.
Sorry that that's been your experience with CoC. However, Christian churches and Churches of Christ (Independent) described here are a separate group that are generally very open to baptisms of other trinitarian groups.
Water baptism being needed for salvation is where we draw the line. It is faith alone, through grace alone, through Christ alone. There is not one scripture, when taken into context that supports baptism is needed for salvation. They are a cult.
@astutik8909 Sort of. Jesus promises that everyone who believes in Him will be saved. So we need to believe that full stop. However, James says works play a role in our salvation. How can you reconcile the two? By understanding that your actions have an effect on your faith. Sin can keep you from believing the gospel. That's why it's important to have works as well as baptism (an appeal to God for a new conscience), repentance and confession (to keep your conscience pure) and the Lords Supper (to nourish and sustain your spiritual life). But we ought never to see these things as conditions of our salvation. Faith is the only requirement to be saved. God gives us means to have and keep true faith.
@@JohnTDeck its easily reconciled. True faith is proven by works. These works are done in the belief that God exists, and the message is true. Its impossible to have a true faith without the works.
