Due to the mild winter that we had this year, the winter ticks (Dermancentor albipictus) were really hard on the moose. The moose try to rid themselves of the ticks by rubbing them off, thus rubbing off their fur. When the ticks are bad like they were this year, a lot of moose do not survive the winter.
Nice variety of wildlife. Thanks for sharing.
9:50 That grouse beating it's wings made the elk pause...
NIce video. Thanks
They all looked well fed.
Nice video. Liked seeing that bear. Is that common for moose to have hair like that this time of year?

Moose and deer in the same habitat. Don’t the moose get a brain disease from the deer droppings?
Nice video, but no big foot 🤔
Scarcoptic mange
@@willwipf7030 'Squatch was behind the camera. They can see them a mile away...
Surprised to see all those young bulls with antlers, figured they'd loose them about the same time deer would.
Wow I didn’t know you could get sound with the video on a trail cam

It’s sad to see the hairless scrapes on the moose. Ticks can kill a moose.
Not ticks that's mange
