I can clearly separate the english out of korean lyrics when she sings omg I didn't have the same experience with other kpop idols most of them are just kinda mumbling to my ears but this one? she has the BEST pronunciation period.

keep in mind she's more fluent than other korean idols because she studied english and even stayed in ph for a bit, I love her pronunciation but it's a bit unfair to compare her English skills to ppl who've maybe barely studied it in school for a bit- a lot of them are not exposed to proper pronunciation and have difficulty fixing their accent to become more natural

Yup. I mean, among all purple kiss member, her swan voice really stand out to me. Not that other member have weak voice. Idk. Swan voice is unique to me. For someone as her to have a unique voice to debut in idol group is refreshing. Cuz company usually go for mainstream voice more than unique voice. And she also quite a powerful vocal powerhouse like goeun. I think her and goeun are purple kiss main vocal.

I think that they’re really playing it smart with their concepts so far to avoid comparison to MAMAMOO. Like My Heart Skip a Beat was a heavy metal concept which Mamamoo has never done, and while Mamamoo experimented with ethereal vibes with Starry Night, this trailer from Purple Kiss has a more haunting feel to it. While Mamamoo’s start was based on retro-sultry vibes, Purple Kiss’s start is looking more edgy. Props to RBW for choosing a concept for them that’s the polar opposite of Mamamoo’s. It shows that they can handle giving both groups strong identities, which gives me hope for Purple KISS’s growth in popularity based on talent alone.

I've been watching all their trailers but this one really hits differently. Her voice is unique and soothing. She takes you in a different world, like you're in a movie or something. I've never heard this kind of voice among the kpop girlgroups I've listened to. She sounds like an indie artist. Her pronunciation is so good that I thought the whole song was in english.
Kinda reminds me of Wheein (I'm so inlove with Wheein)...I mean, Mamamoo is the strongest vocal and performance group out there and all of them are amazing but whenever Wheein sings, it's full of emotions and really soothing. Her songs can break and heal your heart at the same time.
I've heard this kind of voice a lot in series music before ... So now I'm actively researching where I've heard this before, probably in fantastic/surnatural series with magic .... So many series and episodes to do 😭

Rbw is makin a lot of profits nowadays, I'm relieved though. Back in mmm's debut, i remember the member's hair colours were all almost the same which is dark brown/black(you know rbw was not makin much profit back then) and their outfits can be said "low budget" I don't blame rbw tho. Glad that rbw is rising their way up and could have this kind of high quality cinematography for a rookie group and makin a good impression for newcomers!!
