Great review Paul! I always appreciate your fully encompassing view of bikes as a whole rather than individual aspects. It’s about building a combination of components, geo and kinematics that all complement each other to create the ideal ride experience.

I reckon you could have made it a bit longer and slacker. Maybe Peter Fonda was way ahead of everyone in Easy Rider.
Yes if Carbon was any good they would make aluminium from it and if aluminium was any good they would make steel from it but unobtainium is the ducks guts.
      But E=Mtb²

Just read the review and it takes me wwaaayyy back to ordering a shock in 2003…
Me: “and I’d like the optional compression adjuster please”
    Avy: “No”
    and he was right too!

Would be interested to hear someone else's first impression compared to a more typical high end off the shelf ride

Now begs the question from prior for reviews. How does the Avalanche tuned Boxxer compare to the Rulesman Manitou Dorado?

I'm thinking about putting a conversion kit in my boxxer select, but i'm not sure whether to go with the race only coil conversion or avalanche boxxer cartridge kit. What one did you prefer the feel of?

Who built the aston-A-tron? Looks mean!
