thanks man . i just did my tail lights almost exactly the same on my 1996 800....please keep putting those vids out..they do motivate me to keep working on mine im over wellmed with the amout of wire that packed under my seat i look forward to miniumizing asap
@dirt.road.warriors7143 gotcha, I'm having issues with mine as well and am considering rewiring, but I'm a mechanical man not electrical haha How did you gear up the head light if you can still recall? Total rats nest in there and i want leds instead of the garbo incandescent, great videos btw im working my way through them now it's really helping motivate to get going on it
why not rather completely take out these chrome struts that where holding the sissy? they are just holding the passenger foot rests. space out the shocks done..
@@dirt.road.warriors7143 interesting, thx for the answer! my only concern would be that they were intended (calculated) structurally to be there but i dont think so. bobber to me means minimalism / gut it out to the max. for knee stretching i would prefer some extra pegs at the front maybe. thx again.
dude I have the same bike. Suzuki Intruder 1400. I got it from a friend and for this reason. Bobber. Fun bike. Thank you. doing exactly this.

I’ll be doing more wiring soon I found a new headlight and bucket to swap to and I’ll be redoing the whole front soon
Im about to get the 1400 intruder going to do the same thing.
Maybe part 4 to see finished product????
Soon I’m sorry i have Been infrequent with the videos I’m gonna try to get back to it
Nice work. Got a '93 model last week. What handlebars have you? Look much better than the stock ones.
What was the reason for having to run your own lines for the blinkers? The electrical on these bikes makes my head hurt
I had an issue in my harness it was easier for me to re wire then find the problem

I like the look plus on long rides I can flip the passenger pegs down and put my heels on then to stretch out my knees
