Is it durable? Yes! I have personally "crash tested" it on several occasions and this design has withstood the test. In fact, I guarantee its durability! Break a baseplate or top plate within 30 days of purchase and I'll send you a new one for free! Details on site at tmacfpv.com/fpv-pilots-den/ Fly the Bat & save Gotham!
Now you're just showing off. Beautiful design. Homemade frame? Heck yeah. 1100mAh power, HD video AND sub 250g? That's how you do it. Broke an arm? Just print a new bottom plate and you're good to go. You, Sir, are definitely onto something.
You get a 30-day TMac Durability Guarantee with it. Break a baseplate or top plate and I'll send you a new one free (I've "durability tested" this thing myself enough times😂)
Nice job TMac! I'm interested in the flight characteristics of your Bat frame. It looks like it could have some extended hang time with the way its designed. I hope to see more videos on it. Thanks
Fun and looking good! All frames I’ve printed were broken in record time. Yes it was not cf pla… Still it would be great it you could do some crash testing. Second suggestion: would be great to have a properly angled place where to mount the gps into the frame…
Hey Nikotttin! Please see my pinned comment at top of this Comment Section. Details of 30-day guarantee are near top of page here tmacfpv.com/fpv-pilots-den/ I had a feeling pilots may be skeptical of durability, so I'm offering this guarantee. Please do not think this was made with PLA. As stated in the video, it is not. It's a much stronger material (and can be difficult to print). You're not the first person who's asked for a 3D printed accessory for GPS module, RX antenna, etc. So, I've created a prototype I plan on testing today. If all goes well, I'll list it as an accessory to the frame on my site later today, Saturday, May 15th. Thanks for your inputs!
optional all-in-one (AIO) GPS, VTX antenna, and "Immortal T" type antenna mount is up on site now. tmacfpv.com/fpv-pilots-den/ Also did the same version except without the Immortal T attachments
Looks sweet, nice size. Some where in-between that thumb was talking to ya. I've been swapping my two Caddx Vista's from build to build. Out of stock everywhere. I bought two without the camera. The units stopped displaying in OSD.
Nice project...👍🏻 your bangbad link to the firmware update cable ..if intended for the shark byte system is only a 6 pin connector where the OEM plug is a 7 pin...unless I can't count...🥴
Not being pushed around by wind at all, but great observation Rob! For that flight, yes, it was underpowered. The completed build (as shown in the video) is 150 grams. Keep in mind, I was using 2500Kv motors on this build (simply because I had some laying around--its much better suited for 3000-400 Kv). To capture good quality flight video to display on RUclips, I decided to strap the Caddx Orca on it. That (with the 3D printed Orca Mount) added another 75 grams to it! That's a 50% increase in weight! Those 2500 Kv motors were having a "little difficulty" with this flight! I do not normally fly with an additional 75 grams strapped on this quad with those motors
Hey Sam. Under Features & Benefits section describing frame on my site it states the frame is Caddx Vista and Shark Byte compatible. On the same site I have GPS mount STL files available. I'd need to know the GPS module you'd be using to print one out. I've not designed an antenna mount for it yet.
@@TMacFPV Hi TMac, I just seen that and i missed on the video. I must have looked away when you had it displayed. WRT the antenna mount, maybe you don’t need it for this frame, but I was looking for one that could support the longer antennas for the Caddx Vista. Also, I don’t have a 3D printer, therefore if I decide to buy the frame would you be willing to print a single mount that would accommodate the GPS and the antenna?
@@TMacFPV Unfortunately not. I thought you might have one for this particular frame. Even if I did have one, I’m not sure that it would fit your frame.
@@samavella8831 not yet. Great idea though Sam. It'll take me some time to design any mounts. I try to avoid them myself as IMO they just add weight I've got the long Flywoo antenna installed on mine. I just took some of the outer wrapping off the antenna so it's more flexible running through the quad frame

I said it from the beginning u are a genius great super frame thank u Tmac.
Def need a lav mic or shotgun mic
Let's do it!!!
this might work pretty good with the 03 air unit
Amazing mate. Great frame and awesome content. Stay safe

Hello Tmac, you are Guru Ji to me. I am looking forward to collaborating with you.
Nice Video. What kind of flight times are you getting on the packs mentioned in the video?
HeyJabbey71! I get about 10 minutes cruisin' time with the GNB 4S 1100 mah Lipo. Haven't timed the 750mah LiPo yet

Seems like it's getting pushed around by the wind.
My need higher pids or its under powered

Cool design though.

Will it fit a caddx vista? If so, would you 3D print a mount for the GPS and the the caddx antenna?
